Arcade King Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 (edited) Just been made aware of this issue. The set time is different to the time shown after Event is created. This only started happening after the update. Edited January 14, 2023 by Arcade King
opentype Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 (edited) I’m seeing wrong dates/times too. After saving, the event always defaults to “UTC” even though that was not selected. I have events set up in the past which still show correctly, but it doesn’t seem to be able to fix new events with this problem. Edited January 14, 2023 by opentype

I also have Calendar Topics installed and it creates a thread with the correct date in it also. (and yes I've disable it to see if it was the cause of the issue.)
Alexandru Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 (edited) Talk to your host provider, he will know "hopefully" what to do or your dev if you have one. This might be a problem from your host. You've given to little informations, i cant work with provided informations from what may cause this. Like I told you above, it might even be from your host (Happend to me one time). For me works just fine. And I also see there a timezone set by you. Maybe the DEVs from ips calculated or did something wrong on that timezone, could you try another timezone just for testing? If the set timezone is Australia/Brisbane it will actually show the timezone from that country.22:36 Australia Time 12:36 Europe/Berlin Time Edited January 14, 2023 by drawncodes SeNioR- 1
opentype Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 It CAN be an issue related to the user browsing or the server settings, but there can also be an IPS bug. I am leaning towards the latter, since I can replicate this issue across multiple installations on completely different servers.

If you start to edit the event - the time is what I set. *When saving the event, does not take into account the time zone and set the time GMT!

Having a similar issue on our calendar: all of the events on Mon 1/16 are behaving wonky from multiple different views, and several for the rest of the week are exhibiting similar behavior. The monthly calendar shows the correct time, but if you mouseover it, there's a different time; then if you click into the event page, it's something different from that. If I drill down and try to actually change an event, however, it has the correct time saved. Examples in case it's still useful: https://community.wildewitch.com/events/event/712-the-mortal-guardians/https://community.wildewitch.com/events/event/710-the-mortal-guardians/https://community.wildewitch.com/events/event/721-the-mortal-guardians/
Arcade King Posted January 16, 2023 Author Posted January 16, 2023 On the Calendar is anybody else unable to delete events?
