Posted November 1, 20222 yr After upgrade ranks disappeared on the left side of user posts where user's nickname and number of posts is located. However, we still can see ranks in admin panel correctly set up as they were before. The achievements are enabled in achievements settings. Edited November 1, 20222 yr by Davidus
November 1, 20222 yr Solution Ranks have been moved to an image by the user's profile photo in content. When hovering over the image, you will see the rank:

Matt did make this post to return custom member titles so you may be able to look at this but I'm afraid, this is outside our scope of support and only provide as a courtesy:
November 9, 20222 yr Author @Jim M Thank you. With usage of html and css customization I successfully returned those ranks. But I have another problem. I noticed that it is not possible for some of the users to change so called retained member title in ACP settings because the field is not present. Some users have the field retained member title in Profile Data card which is possible to edit and some of them simply don't have that field in Profile Data card.

Do you have Member can edit value? enabled on the profile field? If so, could you please provide an example of each type you mentioned here that we can review?

For some other users there is no field retained on the Profile card in admin panel. One example with retained field which can be edited/fulfilled: And another one without the retained field: Edited November 9, 20222 yr by Davidus

But if I enable it other users will be able to change it themselves on their profile. Isn't it meant only for mods to do this?

Isn't it meant only for mods to do this? No. If you want only your moderators to edit then you would need to ensure you have set "Show on member's profile?" to one of those values. Then also ensure that your moderators have the permission to edit profile fields in moderator permissions. You mentioned that only some users could edit which is why I wanted to ensure that you had "Can member edit" to ensure non-moderators were able to edit but that doesn't seem like it's what you want.
November 9, 20222 yr Author @Jim M It is not working. The field retained doesn't appear. Edited November 9, 20222 yr by Davidus
November 9, 20222 yr If the user in question does not have this filled out, it will not show up on their profile till you go to their profile and click the Edit Profile button and fill one in.

I'm confused by your statement, all users would have the field present if the moderator in question has the ability to edit all user profiles. Could you please provide an example we can take a look at?

November 10, 20222 yr You would need to ensure that member edit is enabled. If it is, please provide us access to your community and an example member.
November 10, 20222 yr Author Issue solved. After value is modified on users's profile in forum then appears in admin on user's profile card and member can edit value must be enabled. Edited November 10, 20222 yr by Davidus
November 10, 20222 yr Hi @Davidus, Thanks for clarifying and we're glad you managed to sort things out. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if anything else comes up.
November 20, 20222 yr Author Maybe this new issue is for a new topic, maybe not, so anyway... I noticed that if I enter member title that this is a some sort of a new rank, and not the old rank of a user from previous version of forum. After I changed user's member_title in admin and after that checked in phpMyAdmin, the value 'member_title' in table 'core_members' was not changed. It is like Invision Community added a new table with ranks in DB. Edited November 20, 20222 yr by Davidus
November 20, 20222 yr Author It seems that ranks were moved to core_pfields_content table. Can I access them from HTML template?
November 21, 20222 yr Old ranks were moved to a custom profile field, as the system itself was replaced with the achievements system. You can see custom profile fields, along with how to add them here https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/members-and-groups/custom-profile-fields-r172/
