Posted October 17, 20222 yr I believe there is a setting somewhere that can limit the bots from seeing user signature content, but I can't find it. I could be wrong here, but if anyone know please share this with me...thank you!
October 17, 20222 yr Solution IPS does not identify human vs bot, so unfortunately I don't think you can do it for just bots. You can however turn signatures off for guests... since most bots should be guests, this might work for you. ACP > Members > Member Settings > Profiles > Profile Settings

Another option might be: This would put known bots (like Googlebot, etc) into a specific group that you create. That group can have signatures disabled for them. Just trying to think a bit outside of the box here. 🙂
October 17, 20222 yr Hi @sadams101, I hope the above has given you some alternatives to what you are trying to achieve.
October 18, 20222 yr It's simpler than that I think? Bots view as guests and there's an option in the ACP to either show or hide signatures to guests. Member settings > profiles > profile settings > show signatures to guests

Member settings > profiles > profile settings > show signatures to guests That is correct, yes. Of course it wont distinguish between true guests and bots, but it would certainly ensure no bots are viweing them
