Please try the above in the first instance, and then if you have any further issues, please let us know. (Let us know if that works too of course)

After reviewing the error log, and the update again, the auto-update was successful.
In a live site, the auto update went without a issues.

I had it too.

As a workaround, I downloaded the complete version and copied the files over, then /admin/upgrade.

That did it.

Just tried 25 minutes ago and still happened. But I was able to upload files and it's ok. 👍

It just happened again trying to apply the new patch.

Have you now resolved this, or have you done the upgrade? If not, we can take a look to see whats happening there

Yes. I downloaded IPS 4.6.9 from Client area and used admin/upgrade.

Glad to hear you got upgraded there. These will usually happen when there is a break in connection between the client and server. If you are getting  this each time of course, let us know
