Solution Jim M Posted June 16, 2021 Solution Share Posted June 16, 2021 I would suggest starting with our Guides, here is the brief overview of Downloads guide, which covers permissions: Additionally, this guide covers Paid Files: Further details about Categories, can be found here:
DawPi
Edit admin group and under Downloads tab allow for it for this group only. 🙂
Adriano Faria
You need to have Commerce installed, then go to Coomunity -> Downloads -> Settings and enable it: Then go to Groups and give permission to those groups who can post paid files.

You will want to click "Paid" and it will present options for price.

Nigel Moore
Hi Mark, I purchased it already, is there a way to use the "Download" feature only? What I mean is that, were not ready yet to upgrade the IPB, but just want to use the "download" feature. So how do I extract this "download" feature only to my existing version? Thanks -Allan of Nigel's Team
Marc
You cannot add downloads to an older version in that manner. You would need to ensure you are using the latest release first Nigel Moore
