You have also the Secret phrase. Mine is just a word, without spaces.

Not sure why you’re mentioning URL. You don’t have access to URL; it is in the script. You just need to enter the API Key and Secret Phrase. The app will do the rest.

If there was something wrong with it, it wouldn’t work on my test.

OMG am I dumb ass trying to make this more complicated than it is.  I have been trying to format the correct API URL with key this whole time when all you have to do is enter the 6 digit API key and the secret phrase.

Sorry for wasting your time but in about 10min of your time you helped me get something working I haven't ever had working since I purchased links over a year ago so thank you for being smarter than me.  🙂

I've updated IPS the other day and I think I triggered the PHP 8 Compatibility checker because it locked me again Links Directory. I'm already installed the latest version before doing the update. Any clue of what I can do?

@Adriano Faria I would suggest to keep the file but remove its content Instead of removing it from the package.

This avoids confusion and is much easier for the clients.

Yea, this way it overwrites the old file so the deprecated code won’t be on the system anymore, while deleting it from the package keeps it on their system for everybody who’s upgrading.

Is it possible to edit the displayed information in the block to the right of the page? I don't have any need to display the IP address for example - just makes the site look busier than it needs to be.

You can change anything in your install by editing templates. It’s unsupported and not recommended because you won’t receive updates in the edited templates until you revert the changes.

I already replied this question in the post above yours.

Just in case you want to try by yourself, in your ACP -> Customizations -> edit the HTML & CSS of your theme -> HTML -> links -> front -> view -> view.

That's the template you'll have to edit.

Any chance of future updates including an option in the ACP to allow us to select/unselect items to be displayed in this particular box? It's fine for geeks, but most end users simply won't be interested in most of what's in there.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before (but this is at 58 pages of comments now so difficult to see) ... But it would be AWESOME if links could be added to multiple categories at the same time. 

It would also be useful to have the category it's listed in available on the "edit" screen once a link has been added and of course to have further categories available to be selected there as a tick box list.

It’s necessary a change in Core in order to make a link be available in more than one category. You can’t also have a topic in multiple forums, etc.
