Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
September 22, 20204 yr Got the latest version installed (1.2.0), but lost it's functionality after IPS update (using default IPS template). Am I missing something?
September 30, 20204 yr I'd like to see the author name change follow permission rules. For instance I can post using a members name into the moderators forum who does not have access to that forum.
October 9, 20204 yr I have installed version 2.0 with my Invision 4.5, however I am not seeing the plugin working correct and cannot find the 'change post author' link inside my topics. Anyone else having this issue?
October 22, 20204 yr Yes, we've also lost the plugin functionality now that we've upgraded Invision (4.5.4). I'm guessing this plugin needs updated? Hoping for an update soon...

Edit: Still working for me using the default them. However, not working with a third party theme. Edited October 23, 20204 yr by Eric BXL Added: extra info.

Awww, no, we use a customized theme. We were using a custom theme before the upgrade though and it worked fine. SIGH. This should be fun. ETA: I checked using default theme and it doesn't work for us either way. Edited October 23, 20204 yr by Antoinette Westberry Checked default theme

However, as mentioned in my previous post, it shows and works fine with the IPS Default one.
November 16, 20204 yr Is there any news? My clients always contact me to tell me that the button to change author has disappeared...
July 4, 20213 yr With 4.6.x it still seems to work. Is it officically compatible? If yes, please update it so the marketplace correctly shows it
July 8, 20213 yr Looks like the author has not been on this forum in about 8-9 months so probably little chance of it being updataed

Love to hear that. I came here searching. Wondering if @InvisionHQ would be willing to take a look and confirm? And possibly update the file information? 😇 Would be greatly appreciated! It's a great plugin!
August 20, 20213 yr Hello, I know how to install plugins (XML) but there is no xml, how to install this plugin. Thank you for your answer. 4.5.6
August 27, 20213 yr Thank you for the 4.6 update! But it would have been much better if the option was placed inside the post options rather than next to the quote buttons. @InvisionHQ Edited August 28, 20213 yr by David..

June 6, 20222 yr I'm having an issue installing this. I bought this and went to the market place and searched for this and then clicked the install button and then my web browser froze and had to close it out. Went to 'install" again and got an error , "There was a problem loading this content." popup. How do I check to see if it installed or is installed? Tried again and my brower is frozen again? Is it working in the background?
