Tables in IPB editor?

http://ckeditor.com/addon/table

Download the zip, log in to the ACP and go to customization -> Editor -> Toolbars and add a button.

If you want to go further than that, then add in http://ckeditor.com/addon/tabletools too.

That was really awesome and easy.  I love it.

As far as the extra tools, I added that and also needed to add a bunch of other files like dialog, contextmenu, etc

How do I make sure those are turned on, is there a file I need to edit to make the tools live?

Nope - just install them and they are on straight away.

Some ckeditor addons will have requirements for other plugins - just need to install them and all is good. The ACP will let you know if there are any requirements.

http://ckeditor.com/addon/dialog (provides support for dialog boxes in ckeditor)

http://ckeditor.com/addon/contextmenu (provides right-click functionality for created elements in ckeditor)

Yep - add button (some plugins don't add buttons, so I can see why you asked) Nothing needs to be done outside of the ACP at all (if anything, manually doing it outside of the acp will likely lead to errors in the ACP)

Any time you want to add a plugin to CKEditor, just click "Add Button" and it does the job for you (configuration changes, uploads and extracts the zip to the correct location)
