Lawliet Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I've tried to code the 'Delete shout' button instead of going into the settings and then click delete shout, I want it on the shoutbox on the front for moderators to use as a quick thing, Any chance you can help me out? :)
RLPVT Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I am still using an old IP shoutbox version but i bet the bit that needs to be changed is still the same. I have attached an image of the issue I am having. The main shoutbox smiley/emoticon area has the show all covering the field. Is there a place somewhere in the template bit to bring this "Show all" box down? I thought I saw this in an old thread but I cannot find it now. I would think someone in this thread might know. Thanks
Lycanth Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but is there any way to allow members to change text colour without having to use bbcode every time? Preset?
RLPVT Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I'm sorry but don't understand the response. Tracker is for me or the other reply? Can you answer the issue? or are you saying the answer is there?
Guest Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I'm sorry but don't understand the response. Tracker is for me or the other reply? Can you answer the issue? or are you saying the answer is there? It was for the question from @Lycanth as the issue is already lsted in the queue. But the 'answer' probably is valid too if it aint in my Tracker ...
RLPVT Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 As for mine can you just point me on the bit I need to change?
SeanQ Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 When I post this code in the shoutbox, it messes up my entire forum. This code has worked since 1.2.2. Mind releasing a fix for it? I'm using your paid version. Also, bad word filtering doesn't work for it. <!--
Guest Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 When I post this code in the shoutbox, it messes up my entire forum. Just tried it on my test system and it worked as expected, ie not doing anything wrong.
Woodburner Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Very nice bit of work, I have to admit. Installed it a couple of days ago and it work (almost) perfectly, which is where the problem starts. The SB does not open in a popup. It did once but never again. I checked the settings and yes, opening in a popup is permitted and no, I've disabled my own popup blocker but then it did work once but once only. Any idea why this is happening? JB
Kandice Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 On Shoutbox v1.3.7 When Moderator edit Shoutbox shout, it show a blank window with nothing in it. How do I fix this?

Dmacleo Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 On Shoutbox v1.3.7 When Moderator edit Shoutbox shout, it show a blank window with nothing in it. How do I fix this? do you have load js from google checked in acp-system-advanced cpu-saving and optimization? I have seen that when trying this. Anyone have a suggestion getting this "Show all" Lower than the emoticon box? sorry I have never seen that issue as far as I can remember

Strange problem is that it inconsistent, sometime it happen and sometime it work.
RLPVT Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Thanks, I had never seen it either. I just though maybe if I changed some template bit it might be cleaned up. It doesn't do this in the normal posting editor just the shoutbox one.
Merlinscave Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Getting ioncube error installing latest version. Went back to 1.3.3
Guest Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Shoutbox FAQ & Notes Before posting to the support topic read the Shoutbox FAQ entries, most installation/upgrade issues are already there. Specially note these two; I can't seem to get the Shout button to respond or other weird behaviour and common issues I get one of these errors on my site now when I've installed this app
Merlinscave Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Yes i know what the problem is ........ioncube is not installed..........but when i install it does that effect my forum installation ??
Dmacleo Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 been 2 years since I installed ioncube after everything was installed so my memory may be off. when I did it went ok, the only thing I had to do ( IIRC ) was make sure php.ini referenced correct extension directory and all php modules were there. that however may be more related to zend and not ioncube as I just installed both. at the time I was not sure of how I was going to install nexus so I did both to prepare for whatever version I went with. I do remember whatever adjustment was needed only took a few moments when I installed nexus ioncube version. fwiw the 12$ version of shoutbox does not need it.

Makoto Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Yes i know what the problem is ........ioncube is not installed..........but when i install it does that effect my forum installation ?? No. If it's installed correctly, it will have no impact on your site, which installation is generally quick and easy anyways. Ioncube is also required for IP.Nexus. It's just a PHP extension.
RLPVT Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Weird behaviour is usually skin/cache issues. Thanks but actually there was a skin edit but someone fixed it for me but thanks anyway
ørret Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Uploaded Shoutbox v1.3.7 to server, checked ACP applications, and it dosen't show up on the list so I can't install it.
SpawnPoint Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Is there a changelog? I have checked but can't find anything.
