Nevermind on the RSS stuff I figured that out. I just need to know is there a way to auto create topics in the main forum when a new video is added. Also Still cannot get these images to auto fit and size into the settings in the CSS. So any ideas?

you can find the css for the category listing for you theme in the defaults.css. you will need to confgure the video services like youtube, go to the acp->community->media->settings, you will see several tabs there. on the general and category tab you can tell it which apps to ignore and which nodes/subnodes to ignore. on the services tabs, you will find links to how to get their api keys and how to configure them to work. OK I am still having issues. I adjusted everything and I am still getting it off center. I just want any image auto sized to cleanly fit at say 90px by 90px. I adjusted in all three areas and kept messing with it and and the line setting and the size changes in both places and still looks weird. As for the auto topic I am assuming this is for if someone posts in a certain area that can be grabbed and added? But is there a way to auto topic INTO a forum when a video is posted in the media application itself? Is there any RSS settings for this application?

I have a question the media application. When I shrink down the thumbnails or attached file when I link to a video like a youtube video the forum image is distorted. Like i t is being stretched and moved to the right in the area where the image for the addition is added in the media topics. Is there a way to make the images be centered and/or made to fill the area cleanly? Also I was wondering I thought there was a auto topic for adding videos but I dont see one is there not?

As stated above in my post I did it BOTH WAYS. Manually and RSS and the post HAD an attached image at the first post of the topic. As matter of fact your super topics mod catches it with no problem. Also stated in my post above, I already scraped with FB debug.

OK so I added an image at the top of a topic. I ran Facebook debug to scrap again. I posted the url to the topic manually and not using the RSS and still it is posting the og:image from the settings on the meta for default. Anything I should look at? Also RSS feeds to facebook dont show the image either

I am still getting this error on the media system with Media 2.1 in the Admin CP when I click on settings. Also I am wondering is there a way to control the size of the thumbnails in the category views? I went in the settings to see if it was there and I get this error or debug or whatever it is still

What I'm asking is about a setting in this app. Can I control what groups on registration they can choose from. Obviously I don't want my admin or owner groups being selected. I'm assuming yes. Just want to make sure.

And you can filter the groups they can select?

Just so I am clear and I did read through the support topic but I want this clearly understood by me before purchasing. This is like what used on IPB 3.4? I have groups all primary on a sports fan board. We allow the person to sign up and show their team they support based on groups. So I can set this to have them select their favorite team since it based on primary groups on registration correct? I am assuming was can filter what groups they can select from correct? Don't care about secondary and don't use them for that purpose Thanks

Mod seems to be working now. Is there a place to edit the title of the mod? IN the create menu it shows CJ media. That is confusing for some. I would just like it to say "Create new Media"

Question: Would this work if I added an image to a topic but had an auto RSS import connection to Facebook? Meaning it auto posts the from the RSS feed new items. Or is this only when you manually share the URL?

Not to be a pain but I haven't been able to use this mod since I purchased it. Can I at least get an expected time frame for next release? I think almost two weeks since purchase is a fair amount of time

I just purchased the Media mod/app and I am getting a very strange error. I installed it without issue. Members can still see the board and the site works fine. When I have this enabled the people in the owners/admins group get hosed. Once I activate the application, then go back into the site I get all white screens and even in the admin CP when I click on edit settings for the Media mod I get a white screen. I cannot access my site at all when this is on. People NOT in Admin/Owners group can access the site with this turned on. Any thoughts?

Actually. Darn what I needed was super grid and super topics. That would have solved my issue's I bought the wrong one. LOL. Doh!

I am really starting to see the issues here. I am just now getting on 4.3 from a 3.4 board. Lots of stuff has changed. So bare with my ignorance on this So I think what I should have done is purchased your Supergrids. I was wanting to use this to replace my old IP Content home page. I cannot seem to find how to promote to the articles still in my old database. But reading about your other mod that might have been a better way to go. I just tried to create two topic feed blocks But there is no way to say Images in one and not in the other. If the feed is topic then I cannot have two topic feeds one with image and one with none. I don't mind the top one being a full image with only one article because I tried setting that to Featured only. The other was none featured. But I wanted them to only be topics without images. So it would be cleaner. In my old Article template I had a Top article with a Large image and then title and author and underneath I had smaller images with articles based on date posted. Maybe I should have looked at this more closely.

OK maybe the image in it was just ugly... I will choose better images going forward Any chance we could get a setting to scale images in the future ? No worries though. I will work with it

OK thanks for the speedy response. So I reduced it down to one topic. The topic had a small image in it. Now with only one topic in it the image is stretched over the entire block and covering even the title. Is there is any image controls I am missing on the image size it produces?

Basically I set it to 6 topics. I want to use it to fill up the main page like your example in the initial posting of this mod. The issue I am having is when I set it to 6 I am getting 3 across. I would like it to be like the latest topic is on a line by itself. And the remaining ones in smaller fields. Is there a setting for this? One of the topics has an image in it and when it displays to squashes the other 2 additional ones on the same line together and it looks bad. Is there a way to change that setting? Maybe I am missing it?
