I have my forum set to open pages on desktop for the main page when you visit the website for the first time.. And I tried to set forums to open on mobile as the main page when you visit the website for the first time. But it keeps on opening pages on mobile when you load the website. Please help.

Hello to everyone. I run Renault forum, and everything worked well until I just updated forum to latest version. After the update, I have lost forum front page, and forum directly goes to login. Also, every forum logo, that previously was linked to front page, now directs to user profile. I did not received any errors during update. https://www.renault-klub.hr Any ideas what went wrong?

Hello everyone, I came across a very unusual problem, System application is suddenly locked, all other applications work fine. Does anybody have any idea? Everyone on the forum received message on login that they're banned. Hello, I moved with my forums (www.shia-forum.de) to another webserver and now I got several problems: 1. I cant log in to my admin cp. When I tried to log in into my admin cp, I got the error 2S119/1 2. When I tried to log in to my forums, I got the error page 400 Bad Request 3. Now there appears the error page 500 (User db10602065-fati already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections ). I asked my provider to increase the number of 'max_user_connections' but he answered me to fix this problem on my own and to decrease the number of accesses to my database, because it is too big. Sorry for my english. I hope you can help me.

Support: After applying the latest version, I am getting a repeat error in the system logs. It basically states "Index for table is corrupt; try to repair it. No luck trying to repair." I've updated my access information in the client area, thank you.

As I continue to use the development site to test 4.7 features, I started to learn about Our Picks. Yes, I know, I am so late to the party, everyone has left but ... if anyone can enlighten me on how to make the content appear. Steps so far: 1. In the ACP, went to System -> Site Promotion -> Social Media Promotion -> Our Picks tab: confirm switch is showing green/enable and saved. 2. In the same promotion section, clicked on Auto Schedule. This morning I found a new random post in a forum that is locked to member-only posting, there is no genuine way a guest could post in there. Any other reports of this happening to anyone? It hadn't happened before today.

I'm new here, and also have relatively recently become an admin along with a few other forum members after the Tapatalk-based forum concerned was taken out of mothballs in an emergency. The forum appears to be hosted by Tapatalk - it is certainly on the Tapatalk website. A number of us, however, are very uncomfortable with Tapatalk: their polices, the speed (or lack of it) of their servers, their overall opacity in terms of how they run things (there is no online help that I've been able to find), plus, as I have noticed on reading a number of threads here on Technical support and the General IPS forum, an apparent and distinct lack of security. Hello Support, We upgraded the BNTEST site pretty much as soon as upgrades become available so it has been upgraded in stages including 4.7.12, 4.7.13, 4.7.14 an 4.7.15. We did not notice any problems because we run with IN_DEV all the time and the wrapper.phtml file (used in IN_DEV) still has the button! We upgraded the BN site (our production site) on Sunday morning directly from 4.7.12 to 4.7.15 - being production we do not use IN_DEV and as the upgrade was performed in a single step we could not say which of versions 4.7.13, 4.7.14 or 4.7.15 introduced the bug - all that we can say with certainty is that both BN and BNTEST show the same bug (if INDEV is disa…

Ever since after upgrading from v3 to v4 (probaly many years) ago a lot of the images attached to posts are broken. I saw a warning that scheduled tasks were not running. I confirmed that the cron entry was correct. I decided to delete it and then added it again. Now I am receiving emails with this. I receive the same if I manually try and run task.php from a shell command line. Any thoughts? Following the upgrade to Invision Community Version 4.7.15, the entire forum is presenting blank pages. However, upon disabling the Pages 4.7.15 application, the forums load as fine. Assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

In an attempt to add ReadSpeaker to our forum, the ReadSpeaker dev concluded that 'Blocks' on 'Pages will be needed. In our classic license Page was not available. I have now updated the license, which shoould give me access to all apps. However, Pages is not showing up. Is there anything else that needs to be done befor Pages will be available? I'm new to Invision Community, and 'inherited' the management of our selfhosted version from an external compagny. I'm not a trained ICT professional, so please level any responses to the 'bewildered hamster' level 😉
