I have worked in Blood Banking for over 30 years. One of my sites is related to blood banking. Does Pages offer an option to build something like a "Find a blood center near you" where I can type in my zip code, then it finds a center within x miles of that location? Thanks

I bought the lifetime license for IPB so so many years ago. The forums were exactly what we needed and we used it up to 3.4.x something. But when I needed to continue with it support was removed, my lifetime license was terminated and I was stuck with a broken forum who's database may or may not even be corrupted. Out of frustration I looked into other options and bought Xenforo in 2021 All in all, I feel like I've made a mistake. There are so many features that our 3.x forums had from IPB that ran circles around the stuff I can do (and am limited to) in XF. I received an email from Twitter with the above mentioned subject which said: This is referencing my Twitter login app via the IPB's Login & Registration area in the ACP, which still seems to work. The email appears to be legitimate, and it came directly from an IP address owned by Twitter, so I'm not really sure what it means at this point. Did anyone else get this? Any ideas?

Hi, I have recently converted my forum to Invision Community and I'm making good use of the Events feature. I am using the 'Overview' view by default, which gives you a nice list of the events broken down per month with images. One annoyance I have is the fact that old events seem to remain on the 'Overview' view once they've finsihed. If you have large numbers of events, the page becomes annoying to use later in the month. You have to scroll right down to the bottom to find events which have not happened yet. Its gives even worse UX on mobile. Is there some configuration, or even template edit, which could automatically hide the finished events from …

Hello, I just wanted to report a problem. The publish immediately check box is not visible when editing a topic that has been scheduled. I wanted to publish it before the date I had chosen and there was no option to do that when I chose to edit it. See the screenshot attached. I tried to choose TODAY and NOW, and it will be impossible to choose the right time 😞 The publish immediately checkbox should be there when editing it 😞

I recently changed the Authentication Type to "Email Address" in line with best practice for security. Previously members could login with either screen name or email address. However, the dummy text for the Sign In modal continues to state "Display Name or Email Address" and this has caused frustration for some users who missed the notifications we made. I think this text should automatically update to reflect the authentication type being used.

Is there a way to set posting permissions for forums in clubs? I have a few forums within a few different clubs I would to be able to restrict posting to only certain groups. When you make a normal forum outside of clubs it asks you what groups you want to be able to do what but for clubs it does not. Is there any way at all to do this?

Hi, i know its possible and i have searched for an adequate response but could not find one. What i would like to do is set up a club and in order for members to join they have to first pay xxx to do so. I have done my best to look at the Club settings and have the Clubs Improvements but cant seem to find the way to set a club for payment to enter. I also looked in Subscribtions cause i thought maybe it was somewhere there. All i need is a "bump" in the right direction please. Thx

From what I have read, it's not advised to turn developer mode on for a cloud-hosted account, but rather to download the software to work on locally. Does this require purchasing the software in addition to the cloud-hosted monthly fee? I am planning to add an additional cloud-hosted account for a new domain, but that new domain also needs some other PHP functionality (pulling data from a database, displaying it, editing the database, integrating with user using drop down lists, checkboxes, and string input form, nothing too cosmic). I have two private massage boxes, inbound and outbound. All of my private messages are located in my inbound box folder, and the outbound folder is empty, although I initiate many private messages. Any idea why that is?

Hi team, It is possible to set auto alphabetical order in forums or subforums? I only find this display option for that but only order the topics, not the subforums or categories inside. Now I reorder manually any new subforum, I've more than 200 subforums and it is a heavy work.

Last year, I re-organised my member usergroups to help protect from spammers and malicious users. The idea would be that, upon registration, a new user would be set in the usergroup 'Newbie', which requires their first 10 posts to be approved by mod/admin before being able to freely post as well as other restrictions (one of which being unable to make topics). These restrictions would be lifted when the user is promoted to another 'Regular User' group. I can't find a way to move blogs I've made to other categories I've created. I see where I am able to click on a blog entry and select "Move," however, when I do this my other blog categories do not show up as options to where I am able to move the blog entry. Also, I see no way to delete the blog categories that I've created. Please let me know if there is a way to do both of these things, as I was unable to figure this out.
