Can i use ftp in filezilla or how exactly do i access things like php etc

To access the database you will need to be at phpmyadmin or whatever tool that is used to manage them. Do you have cPanel? If you do, you can find phpmyadmin there.

Yes, you can use Filezilla or any other Ftp program to access and manage your php files in your server space. Or you can also access them through the File Manager section in the cPanel of your host. 

As a cloud customer, there is no access to the underlying files or database, as this is an SAAS (softeware as a service) product
