I think a great addition to IPB for those boards with many forums would be to have an "add to favorites" link for each forum, upon clicking it, it will go in a row up top. If anyone thinks they can make this, I'll pay them! Here is a screen shot of what I'd need:

I know there are language mods out there but I haven't seen any good enough. But anyway I suggest that maybe in a future IPB version you guys can INCLUDE a spanish calender in with the forums since these days more and more people are speaking spanish. A spanish calender would be nice.

1) Autolinking words. Similar to a bad word filter. Certain words could be preset to automatically link to url's. 2) Ability to automatically delete profiles after x-amount of days since registration and no posts. 3) Admin have separate ability to view # of active users list when the function is off for other members.

Different upload folder for certain forum.

This is kind of a question and suggestion! There should be option to choose a upload folder for each forum so it doesnt upload all the files to the upload folder but in a different folder that you make..?. Question and example: And does anyone know how i can do this, because I'm putting in a Fan Art section so i want the pictures to be uploaded to the fan art picture folder :D

Unblockable PM Groups

Just like the "Ignore Users: Protected Groups" to specify groups that cannot have their posts ignored, you should be able to specify groups that cannot have their PMs blocked by another user. There's a mod for it by FuSoYa: http://mods.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/6004 IMO, it should be a default feature. Would be very good to have for many different reasons.

One of the boards I frequent uses ASP Playground forum software. They have one feature I really dig... In your preferences, you can choose where you get refreshed to when you post a message: The message you just created, or the forum topic list. Way cool, and most people seem to refresh to the forum topic list, rather than what they just posted.

Search with Mass Move options

I want to be able to search for a specific title or topic and then move those posts by perhaps checkbox and move options. say you have a pet forum "Raining Cats & Dogs" and you have been putting cat and dog posts together, but now the forum is grown so you want to move cats to it's own section. You would search for "Cats" then select the topics to move with a checkbox option and move those to your new "The Cat's Meow" section. Checkbox important here because Dog kills Cat may not be a topic you want to move over to the kitty section :charles:

Could we please have the option in the skin change files to choose* the colors for the added and the remove skin changes? I am color-blind to red and green, they look almost identical to me. If we could, it would VERY NICE. Or just have a "color-chooser".

Members Online Today & Banning System!

I don't understand why IPB is not adding those two feature to their board as those two comes in handy. They're both cool and needed by user and admin to have and it would be easy to "Ban" a user and see who was online today. They should have this in ACP something like that inside "User Group Management" so you can select which group can "Ban" like mod, supermod, admin etc. I would suggest to place these two little mod inside of it on the next release or so. -I'm not sure if this feature was requested before or not (maybe has), if so, please direct me to it or what was their reply to it...

First, the Trash Can; as it is it's quite useless, when a post is deleted it becomes a Topic in the trash can, so cannot be restored. The Trash Can should be more like Window's Recycle Bin, Admin should have a 'Restore' button. Second, Admin CP time-outs; time-outs should be based on last action, not a set time, l've lost count of the times l've been in the middle of something only to click OK and find l've timed out! This is especially bad when you're doing skins, l changed a whole CSS once, took me ages, when l applied it l timed out and lost all my edits. :)

IPB w/ integrated listserv

Hello, I moderate a listserv group and would like to transfer the group to the IPB forum format, however there are a significant number of current and longtime members of the group who prefer to interact via email only. I was wondering if and when Invision will add this functionality to their package. By full email participation, I mean the ability to start a topic, post, reply, post photos, etc. via email and have these events mesh with the forum interaction, just as if the user were on the forum page. Any idea if this is something that is being considered or is already in the pipeline? Thanks, Chris

Hello! I have a idea for a very little attachment-feature. Would it be possible that you add an option to the ACP which makes attachment undownloadable for guests? Guests should see that a post has attachments but they are able to download them before they register themselves oder log into the board. Such a feature would be great. Thanks.
