For the gallery this is. I used to have it then got annoyed because it didn't do what I wanted it to do (not invisions fault, mine for not doing my research) so decided to just try different software. However the gallery is looking much improved these days and I'd like to give it another go, do I just pay the renewal price or would I need to buy it again?

FYI, we get DDoS'd every week. And, most of the time, the attacks are on the Leader's page (the one that lists all the Moderators, etc.) Any way to make it more ... static? :-)

Hello all i don't know where to post this ,sorry if it wrong place i m a old user of IPB ,when i am trying to renew my ipb by bank wire or draft/money order billing method ,then i m getiing the blank page ?? as i have some problem with CC and bank account ,so i am trying to pay by bank wire method but that page totaly got blanked after redirecting plz look into this matter BYW my invoice 143312 is there anyway so i can pay by money booker or by western union

I can see why these arent removed and why you cannot truncate the table from the SQL Toolbox, however i just looked at mine and they go back to May or so :lol: Id like to suggest they are removed after 30 days (so a login > 30 days or so is removed or something) , I can see why they are saved as a list of possible hack attempts etc but over 30 days probably isnt much use imo... Just a thought anyway :)

Pro SKin

No clue where to post this, but everything related to the Pro Skin is a nightmare becuase when there is ever an IPB version upgrade, it just seems impossible to figure out what to do. If we were to click revert to default template bits then obviously it would not even be "the pro skin" anymore. I assume it doesn't alter the pro templates itself becuase how can it when so many of its template bits aren't default? Not to mention so many of its gallery and blog templates are different than default too so we could never be sure what to do about that either. Think how big of a nightmare it would be to do a difference report on the pro skin and figure out which changes were …

Just a little annoyance i found with the Payment Gateway. Excuse me if this has been brought up before. I feel that the exchange rates should be upgraded automatically in IPB. I doubt forum owners who use the payment gateways can be stuffed changing the exchange rates everyday. I'm not sure how much code that would take and what impact it would have on IP.Boards performance but it would be a nice addition. Cheers, sPiDeRz.

I currently have the fastest ipb boards, I've been looking into methods to release my methods to the public but not all that easy as most use apache :( I've tested ETags (Expire) mod_expire, works on lighttpd, apache, etc. Could invision look into the future for ETag's applyed to the ajax pages for browsers to read like index.php?profile=1&tab=posts?ETag=2000 When the tag changes (new content, etc) then the browser will continue the request from the webserver. This can also be implimented in other areas, quite simpily like the warn box's, they always take rather long to load too. The next very large fix I found is combining the javascript files. I think a nifty feature would be 'View all member x's posts in this topic", where you select a member and get transported to all their posts in whichever topic you are looking at. :)

All major search engines now supports Sitemaps and Sitemaps auto-discovery through Robots.txt. I would be a really nice addition to IP.Board if sitemaps were supported since it's an important piece to make the web application search engine friendly. Best regards, Joann

Anyway, why have you released 2.3.2 publicly and then upgrade this place to 2.3.3? :unsure: Even if you've put this place on 2.3.3 for testing then surely that means it's close to public release? Which means 2.3.2 has been released too close to 2.3.3 (in my opinion), so we're going through the trouble of editing files to allow for our customisations to continue working after upgrading to 2.3.2 for little point if 2.3.3 is just round the corner :(

With Nexus seeming to be the main focus, as well as IPB 3.0, some discussion I've heard about them is leaning toward the fact that IPS is changing focus to more business-oriented clients rather than the small website owner who just needs shared hosting, or a forum to run...Are these rumors true, or will IPS just be expanding to business customers as well as maintaining the hobbyist-type customers?

Hi, I do own a Invision Power Board Perpetual License and did receive an invoice to follow with the support service. Support Expired now. The question is that I can't post, answer or see many categories in ipsbeyond. I can download IP converge but can't access IP.Converge per example. Hello, Can you please tell me why there is no option for email reply notification to get email once there is a new reply and dont send any more emails untill you sign in to the board and read topic ? There is such a feature available in vBulletin and other forum softwares. Did i overlooked that feature in IPB or it isnt there in fact ?
