My website focuses around electronic dance music, including electronic dance music events. People from all over the United States visit our website looking for events to attend in their local area. At this point, we have been using a single forum to list all the events. With the announced forthcoming new features for Calendar, I am considering switching our current forum setup into to calendars. The only way I see this working right now is to create 50 separate calendars, one for each state. Hello, There is an option in GLOBAL settings in a member group to allow a member group to view member profiles, but it also turns on the member list option. I just want the user group to be able to view profiles, but NOT the online member list. (the setting there is called, "Can view member profiles and member list?") I do not want this "AND member list" part. I was told via the ticket support that it is currently not possible to accomplish this. Is it possible to add this option/feature in the next release? "By time period" is remembered and sticks when you go back to it later... But "Other" does not do this. Can we have this option remembered as well? I tend to want "Topics I participated in" which is (now) topics I started and/or replied in.

On our forum we have something similar to your implemented quick-navigation but you can define an keyboard-shortcut that makes it easy to access the quick navigation without clicking on the icon where it's located. You can customize the shortcut yourself.

OK, this is extremely minor, so please take this as a good sign that there aren't huge glaring issues that come to mind right now. I have always found it annoying that when I go to edit skin templates, click on a skin, and the list of template groups comes up, that the 'Global Templates' group expands automatically. More often than not, what I want to edit is not in that group, but since it has expanded it now takes up about 90% of that left menu. Instead of auto-expanding that, could it just, like, not auto-expand? That way we'd see about 15 different groups listed there on the left, giving us a much better chance of not having to scroll around to find what we wante…

1. I am finding the Member Management Tools IP lookup is not working like it used to. I get very odd results sometimes not pulling up known matches and sometimes pulling up totally unrelated names and IP's that are not even a b class match to what I was looking for. What happened? This used to work great. 2. Sub problem of this: When I try to search by IP using only the b class, I sometimes get results and sometimes do not. I'm looking to set up some new IP Board based forums once 3.2 is released (guessing at a couple of months) as I'm really pleased with the way the development has gone and the integration with something as powerful as IP Content. One niggle I've got with IP Board is the way it paginates forum listings. Hello In the Member List (http://community.invisionpower.com/members) there is a bar for letters (A,B,C...) to begin with. Because not all of your customers using English, I think you should allow add other letters in other languages (in the Admin CP). Note: If you add this option, I think you can order the letters automatically by ASCII char indexes. For Your Attention and Good Luck!

It seems that in 3.2 you cannot (like in 3.1.4) put for example the "IP.content" tab first in the top menu, it still relies on "Forums" being the first one selected. is this correct? Will this changed before final release?

I'm trying to move some of the links in my App that were in a menu on the app page into the Global Navigation section: I'd like to have a small separator between these specific application pages and the tree structure of the categories. To accomplish that what I did was add a new element to the array that sets its text to just be dashed lines, but I have to pass in javascript:void(0) as the URL to make it not send someone to a new page when clicked. I don't want that separator to be clickable at all, so would it be possible to make the URL for each element be optional? Or better yet, how about some method we can use to insert a separator into the array?

I've requested this a couple of times in the past, but it would be useful if the user could choose whether they want search results shown as Posts or Topic list from the drop-down menu to the right of the Search box at the top right. Fingers crossed that it can be slipped in for 3.2.0 final (or 3.2.1).

I have installed the 3.2 b2 and was able to play with the existing layout and hooks. While the default skin has been perfected to a stage when it is clean and really fine tuned, I can see the existing hooks are falling behind in terms of development, layout, usability and coding. I have chosen 3 examples of hooks which come with the packages as default and only ones which I think could/should be developed much further: 1. I like the fact that in IP Board 3.2 vs 3.1.4, switching from basic to flash uploader is easier, but is there any way that the flash uploader could support drag and drop feature without selectig an upload button? such as attachments in google mail. just drag files from the desktop directly in the topic. I believe it would be a great feature.

I was browsing around and I'm not sure if this is a bug or something is just screwed up on this forum's database over the years. Looking at the members tab, there are many members with no names displaying at all? if you sort by abc... you will see this on the first page. Secondly it looks like a bunch of these members are also spam bots... do you guys not delete these accounts over time? Third, if you sort by post count.... only the last few pages show post counts for members... for example from zero through page 5000 and even higher, there are all zero post counts. Hello, I would like to know if there is anyway to block some members from talking to each other in status comments and on the profile. Let me be a bit more clear. My forums have 2 people who were dating but have since split up. Both of them are still on the forums and bugging each other, while they haven't broken any real rules to be banned, they are bugging each other in their status updates. Is there any Blocking feature to keep them split up of each other so they won't be able to really see each other or post on their profile? Edit: I might have by mistake placed this in the wrong forum...

Having been away for a couple of weeks I've come back to find beta 2 is installed here and everything's looking and working well (and better) - however there's one things that has niggled me since the initial beta of 3.2 and that's the members list. Members take up three lines each - Title <newline> Joined <newline> Group - Post count The between the left side and right side there's a massive block of emptiness ... first I want to note that i was very impressed from the new system. i thoght about the suggestion that can add for the system. now, "My Profile" link located at the opened menu(in the top black bar) i suggest to add more second link in the top blue bar(near "Forums", "Members"..) or in the top black bar(near "Sing Out") from my point of view, in the new system Profile its importent thing thats need bold link (like a facebook) thanx, Gal

Okay I am using my HTC desier HD android 2.3 phone. I can't press the login button I had to hold finder on login button n open in new window but create account link works fine. When I did get to the login page it asked for my email address not username... Confusing thing is I typed what I thought my email seeded was for this site and it was incorrect. Once I get to the page it asked to use my login name or email address. This needs to be fixed to say both. Yes I know I'm on a phone n I should use mobile view but I hate that it doesn't look any good rather see the whole site.
