I'm taking care of a problem within Nexus right now on IPS and I have to go all the way to the bottom of the page as show below in the attachment and read the reply and than have to scroll all the way to the top just to go to the next page. Now this is okay for a few post but when you have ah whole pages worth of replying (27 post) and than the next page has 3 so far. It is very troublesome to restore the paging back to the bottom of the tickets? It sort of troublesome that it was remove. I already made a post about it from the Admin side here. I was not being effected but now is sort of getting on my nervous from scrolling all the way down than back up. I'm looking at it…

On our forum we forgot to force image sizes. This resulted in lots of images with huge sizes, up to 22mb. This in turn led to almost full storage on our server and users quota being filled. I resized all images on the server using ImageMagick mogrify option and greatly reduced used disk space on server. However when listing attachment's under Overview > Files the attached images listed there do not correspond to file size on server, thus not changing quota for users. Im am told by IPS support that this cannot be remedied and would like an option in AdminCP to re-index/re-calculate files. Vbr Daniel

I have noticed that if you have an account or handled your servers before porting over to Invision Power Suite you will have some accounts on your servers which will cause some discrepancies. Could we add a feature that will allow us to assign accounts thats are already in cpanel to customer accounts in the Community Suite's hosting section. The hosting side is good but does need a bit more integration i think with more added features to improve its use.

Feedback on IP.Gallery regarding the upload process 1. You don't notify the uploader, until AFTER he's uploaded, that he can only upload 100 images. 2. While the upload queue is still open, deleting images to bring me less than 100 images doesn't allow me to continue. Nothing does. I'm stuck on the uploading screen, unless I cancel, refresh, and queue a new upload. Some suggestions that I think are reasonable: 1. Tell me the warning message before I upload. 2. Announcements lack "Board Index" value in "Where to Show" option. Currently it is not possible to display one announcement on index only and another on on particular forum. For example, I need a global "About Us" announcement to be displayed only on index and "How to Ask for Support" in Support Forum. Can't do. I briefly looked in the code and it seems strange, that announce_location is field can have * for unlimited locations, but announce_ids has 0 for unlimited forum ids. Guess you can change it to * as unlimited and 0 as board index. Anyway, this option is necessary, because having certain announcement on board index only is a pretty common setup.

It doesn't seem that a retina logo is supported natively in IPS. The best option would be to support SVG files and then there wouldn't be an issue Unless I am missing something, there is no way to set the size and if you use an @2x image it displays at double size (for obvious reasons). Any ideas . - seems weak these days when retina is fairly standard (especially on mobile) and expected. Thanks, Si

You use everywhere in all front end the term RECOMMEND but the mod permisison is Can feature comments? and Can unfeature comments?, which can lead user to a confusion and not find this setting. Is it possible to have a traditional list view for the forum index and the on particular Category display the forums as a GRID. I think having a mixed approach would be a nice way to draw focus to a particular category.

Some source files are not correct for the latest version. If you uploaded the files to your server manually, the process may have failed or not completed yet, or a new version may have been released since you downloaded. Is it possible to add a different sidebar for each forum? Maybe have the default sidebar on the main forum page on all sub forum until you select to have a different one. I run a football forum and I would like to show only Premiership information such as live score, league table in the side bar, then I the Championship forum add a different sidebar which has the championship table, live scores etc. If this isn't possible it would be a good option in future releases. Pretty simple concept. Not sure on how many people would use it but I'm sure it would be useful. On my community site I like to have different groups for different types of members. So things like Admin, Mod, Banned, Owner, Etc but every now and then I want a member group but called something else... So like 'Community Helper' a simple group to identify that the member is someone you know can speak for the community but doesn't actually have any more power than a member. My suggestion would be to add a way to make a Clone group. A Clone group would be where you can Clone a group but the only things you can do with the groups settings is to edit the very first section…

Currently language is defined by browser settings, when you first visit IPS CS based forum, but this isn't good in some cases. For example, I have 2 languages installed, but forum itself is on one language only, yet I use English for ACP. I need my forum to be forced in second language, but still need English to work with ACP. To fix this two simple options are necessary: - Default Site Language - Default ACP Language Every other framework has such options and I never had any language issues due to this. I just chose English for admin and another language for forum and then simply hide language selection section.

on a test site its taking a long time to re-build content via the background process talking a couple of million posts large numbers of gallery images, calendar events etc do have cron running as well as hitting the manual option How can I speed these 'background process' up as currently can't see how I can upgrade the 'live' site if its going to take days to rebuild?

Hi, Currently, there is a cool option to cache all pages to visitors. This has a drawback that view count isn't updated for users reading the cached page. I suggest an option to cache only the index page to visitors (both the index using Pages and the index using Forums), this way the counters will still be updated for our articles (using Pages), which is very important to us, while we can cache the index page of our website to visitors for several minutes without any issue. I just upgraded this morning to 4.1.14.1 and the forum presentation changed. I no longer can display the image blocks that were on the page prior to the upgrade. Also, when I try to use the manage blocks on the left it does nothing, so I cannot get the images back. Another issue is I also cannot use my USER pull-down at top right from the main forum page. I cannot go to the admin CP therefore unless I move to the gallery tab. On main forum page Manage block doesn't work, User pull down doesn't work navigation bar pull downs don't work When trying to use these buttons the browser changes to "http://www.goancestry.com/forum…

I currently have the 2FA info in the notes section but 90% of the time, it gets missed by support and I usually wake up to an email asking me to turn 2FA off on my live site. Maybe have a field under the support account password for 2FA responses or have a way to exclude a member of a group from the enforced 2FA on the site. I enable via group membership, not individual members so turning 2FA isn't my preferred option every time I need to contact support.
