Is it possible to upload multiple default profile photos that are automatically cycled through for each member that has not uploaded their photo? Basically my forum has a bunch of posts with just the first letter of their name in a circle because they didn't upload a photo. To make the forum look better I'm encouraging members to upload their photo, but for those that don't it would be great to have a suite of default profile photos that would be used, instead of just a letter, or having every member have the same default photo. Does that make sense? Thank you.

Hi, I've one third party app (from the marketplace) with an update available (Swiper Slider). I've tried to update it, but the new version of the app is in fact nearly another app : not same functions, not compatible with previous version, ... So I don't want to update the app because if I do, I'll loose all the features I need and I use from it. I had to roll back from a saved community to get back into a consistent state. So now I've constantly the "new update available" tag for that app I don't want to update... Is it possible to disable that for a specific app ? Thankyou for your attention, D

My website has been working fine for many months, and now I suddenly have a 500 error and cannot start the site. The uploads/logs folder is empty, no errors from anytime recently. The most recent change was caching being disabled (moving from redis to no caching, and the constants.php was updated) but the website continued to work fine after that until today. My Ubuntu VPS details are current in my customer profile.

I need to uninstall Invision community, including all associated databases and tables, folders, and files. It looks like I can't do this from within the ACP (probably because that would make the ACP disappear!) How would I go about completely removing IP Community from my server?

Hello, I've created a Google Adsense account, had it approved and all ready to go. Created my HTML ad code and copied it into a created section in advertisements in ACP. On my site, the space for the ad is appearing but it's blank. And no ad is showing up. But in ACP, it is giving impessions. Any idea how to get the ads to appear? Under System > Support > Get Support, I see a yellow recommendation in the "Logs" box saying "Repeated log entries". I just figured that the "Mark as Solution" feature only shows on posts that were made after I enabled "Enable Solved?" in a certain forum. It does not show for any posts being made earlier. Is this wanted behaviour or a bug? I am on version 4.6.12.1 Regards, Tom.

I noticed recently on my website, when i click either of these two buttons, the cool "pop up" box that normally shows quickly goes away, and takes me to the full page. I spent hours trying to find the cause, So I went here to ask a friend, and turns out that even this website is doing it, so it seems to be that the latest update caused this. I apologize if this was already posted somewhere, I went thru a few pages and did not see anything like it before posting. Has anyone else noticed and possibly found a fix?

How can I customize the profile pages for my members. How do I remove or move around different blocks on the profile pages? For example, I'd like to move the Achievements block down lower, I'd like to remove the followers block, I'd like to remove the warning points block, etc. Ideally I'd like to also reorder the tabs so it defaults to their "About Me" tab instead of their "Activity" tab. Is this possible? If so, how and where? Thank you!

Good morning, a few months ago we migrated the platform on a new server and then we implemented the Privacy Policy, we mistakenly clicked on force the request for acceptance to all users even if in truth all our users had already written this policy. The question is the following: How can I disable the request to accept the new policy at new login? I have already tried to re.edit the policy and not check the box to force but the problem at new logins remains, thanks to anyone who will give me a hand, Enrico

I find myself unable to edit images in the editor of my site. It uploads without issue and all other features seem to be working, however, when I double click on the image it just sends me to the image itself and not the edit box. It is reproducible on all themes, including the default. Seems to be affected everywhere on the site I can see a quick "There is was a problem" popup right before it sends me to direct image, but I don't see a code (although it is very fast). Same issue in Firefox and Chrome. I have noticed that my "copy to database" popup box is no longer a popup and takes me to a new page to select the database and category, so no…

I suspect that an IPB update has caused an issue with the site map, as it will no longer validate: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.celiac.com%2Fsitemap.php I do know that this validation issue was not present until recently, but I don't know exactly when it began.

Just got a love note from FB on their annual checkup - I have not altered anything since I got it up and working. And now they say they get a message that reads: "You are not permitted to register a user account with this site." I tried my account by first disconnecting FB from my account settings. Then I logged out of my site and clicked the sign up button. It does a redirect and found my existing account. But it will not let me reauthenticate - with my FB password or my known site password, which I know both are correct as they are stored in 1Password and also have 2Factor.
