Exclude members awaiting validation from Members block

I use the Members block to show members with the latest activity.

How can I exclude (spam) registrations where member has not yet responded to registration validation email, from the block? See an example below on the screenshot, where a potential spammer is not approved but shown in the block.

In the meantime, I have banned the member, but he is still shown in the block. It is not a cache, 2 hours later.

So, the question is now how to hide unapproved AND banned members from the block.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

This issue has been resolved in 4.7.0 which has recently been released. Please upgrade to that version to resolve this, and of course, let us know if you are still seeing any issues.
