This one has unfortunately been missed, which is unsual with this kind of thing. All we can do at this point of course is get them resolved as soon as we can. 

That's certainly up to you...  however IPS generally does monthly releases.  So if you skip a month, you'll most likely just be in the same spot a month later.  At most I would suggest waiting a week or so after the release.  

I usually wait 1-2 weeks after a new release to avoid exactly this kind of issues. The time is usually enough for IPS to release a patch for any major issues.

If I select a single forum from the filter in fluid mode, it will show topics from ALL forums (including protected staff areas).
This is a big problem as it means that our members can see our staff topics.

IMO this kind of bug really should never have gotten through basic smoke testing of the release.
Releases used to be trustworthy but I think I'll hold off on them for a month or so after they are available to try to avoid this kind of thing.

Have you installed the latest patch inside of your ACP?  This was just fixed yesterday.

There isnt a way in which to stop those at present on locked topics, so yes that would be a valid suggestion 🙂 

My apologies if this has already been suggested.
Would it be possible to prevent members from adding/removing reactions from a locked topic?
Sometimes we lock topics and the feuding members try to continue to dig at each other with laugh and angry reactions.

We have released a patch for this issue.
To apply, please go to AdminCP > Support > 1st (or top left) box will have a "Optional Patch Available" link. Click it and follow the instructions.

Keep an eye on this, as it's likely the same issue under the hood...
 
 

When a member makes an anonymous post, their post appears five times after this error appears on the frontend:
[[Template forums/front/topics/topic is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] There are no modifications to that template file, and no option to revert because of that.  Caches have been cleared.
The system log contains:

No. They are content items like topics or gallery images. Content items automatically shows there. What you’re showing above is for non content items, those can be manually added.
A simple solution for you would be to create a new stream, not select Books in their items and set it as default.

But using Daniel's suggestion you could get the value using that code, add it as a data attribute to something in a template and then grab that using JS code up front. A few more lines of code though.

This is really something you would need to report to the ad provider. If ad code is added and is then breaking anchors, I would almost be tempted to say even to report this as a bug in the browser, to be honest. The reality is, an anchor is simply a location in which the page is told to go to when that anchor point is added to the URL. So if its not doing so, the browser ultimately is what is supposed to do this

Version 2.4 of the app is on its way. This major release will bring a completely revised template and some new features that I developed privately for a few clients. If anyone wants to test the app before sending it to the marketplace and can install it locally, please send me an MP.
