You can do that with custom fields in the app. I can post a screenshot when I'm back home.Â
[edit] Ok, actually, you don't even need a custom field at all. You type in the name of the movie and the API fetches all infos from an external database. The movie description will be placed in an editor field. In that field you can put your YouTube link or even use html...
In this example I use some extra fields because because the stream itself and some more stuff are for a special usergroup only. It then looks something like this ...

Try uploading a fresh set of files from your client area, as it looks like you may be missing files there

You need to have mod_rewrite enabled on your server. If it’s enabled, you can turn on Friendly URLs.  Search the ACP for “friendly” and you’ll find it. Enable both friendly URLs and rewriting requests.Â
You’ll need to download a htaccess file and upload it to your document root (under public_html typically). Rename it to .htaccess (with the period up front). Â
You might need to rebuild your system cache but in most cases not. Start clicking around and you should see URLs being rewritten.Â

Yeah it was pretty easy once I figured out the path meant home/etc/

The conversion went swiftly and so far everything seems to be working fine. Invision's converter made it seem like a piece of cake once I figured out that I had to include the everything in the path. I want to thank everyone for their help. Â

Greek76 reacted to Miss_B in What does this mean? uncaught_exception
It is part of the try{...} catch statement. It is used to avoid errors in the code by catching exceptions and continuing the process.
You can read more about it here:

Absolutely!  The conversation was cake. As you’ve most likely seen, now it’s just a matter of fixing all of the permissions and running through all of the settings. That will be the longest part.Â
Also… in case it was not said earlier… don’t delete the converters later. It’s what handles the redirects from the old XF style URLs to the IPB format. Â

Greek76 reacted to Dreamlander in Changing the default icon forums
Hi,
Is there a possibility to change icon forums( ips v.4.54), the default one (I think is a rendered icon from font fontawesome-webfont) with my own one , but with one step modification.
I know I can upload my own icon image, but sadly I have to change it for each of my forums and I have lots of them and subforums.Imagine to do that for all of them ,manually, very time consuming.
If there was an image/icon file default for forum It was simply all I had to do overwritting that file wih my own, but I think it is rendered from the font.

The P should be in small letter. i.e. public_html
What folder is xenforo installed at?Â
-
Greek76 reacted to Daniel F in Convert Xenforo to Invision
Yes, you have to install the suite to run the conversionÂ

So I managed to transfer the XF database and get it to work well. I just downloaded invision and I'm going to begin the conversion process in about 20 minutes. Wish me luck!
