Balto reacted to Randy Calvert in Template calendar/front/browse/calendarWrapper is throwing an error
Awesome! Glad you were able to square it away!

Instead of copying code, revert the template back to default. You’ll need to most likely redo any code changes to the calendar/event app code since it got a hefty forklift in this release.

It may be. You can do most things visual by theme amendment. I'm not a designer myself unfortunately. My mum did pin up a picture I drew on the fridge once when I was around 7, but Im not sure that qualifies me

I have created a ticket for you on this, and someone will be in contact as soon as possible

Balto reacted to Adriano Faria in Quizzes
Hello,
No, that’s not possible.
You need to set the right answers when you’re adding questions and answers.
But that’s an interesting idea. I might consider as a new quiz type for a future version.

These would be your server's error logs, not our software's.

Balto reacted to OptimusBain in error 500 after upgrading to PHP 8
Nothing. Same problem. My webmaster can't find why it's not possible to run PHP 8.0 with 4.7. It will give the 500 error. No luck.

You would need to go back to the cron area, and get the new command to run

Balto reacted to Marc Stridgen in Bug: Misattributed quotes
Will leave it to those looking at the bug report to decide on the best way for them to handle it in the code 🙂

These would be subject to block cache, so that would not be surprising on a newly installed cloud setup. With your live one, I was looking to check what cache you had things set to

I don't think he will release a new plugin, but he can make customized edits according to what you need.

Balto got a reaction from Edjazoli in Mark Topic
Hello @Edjazoli and @kmk,
I had lost my hope on this to be done by the plugin creator, so I have asked another developer to realize that for me. If you are interested in buying this edit, you can contact @Kirill Gromov and ask for the price. It is not free, but he already know the plugin so he can make the edits you need.

I can't add a similar plugin for copyrights reasons, but if the author passed it on to me, I wouldn't mind supporting this plugin.

Hello,
thank you for the nice plugin!
@Runar Is it possible to add a Marker filter in the "Topic Feed" block?
So that a Topic Feed block can show only the thread marked with one of the markers? And a thread will automatically appear in the list if it is marked with that marker and will disappear if the marker will be removed.
Thank you!

Balto reacted to opentype in Bug: Misattributed quotes
I had users complain about being regularly quoted with things they never said. I checked it out and this is indeed easy to replicate. Example:
Let’s say I see this post from Nigel quoting Daniel:
I can select the text in the quote and hit “Quote selection”. But the result will be this:
The quote gets misattributed to Nigel, even though it was said by Daniel! It shouldn’t work like that.
Either the quote should be attributed correctly, or if that is not possible, the inline quote functionality should be suppressed within already quoted text.

Balto reacted to Manuel Molina in Recent activity in my clubs (block)
I have two communities in Invision that are clubs centric and having this as a block would be very useful. For my communities it's all about the clubs you are subscribed to. Clubs=Affinity, so they will become more and more relevant I think.
Maybe it can be made available through an RSS?

Balto reacted to Manuel Molina in Recent activity in my clubs (block)
There is a "recent activity in my clubs" stream on the clubs front page.
I would like to have that "Recent activity in my clubs" stream as a block, so I can have it on the front page of my community. But I havent been able to figure out a way to make that block in the blocks section.
Help is really appreciated as my community is "club centric". Everything is about the clubs members follow.

Balto reacted to Marc Stridgen in Problem with PHP version 8.0
You would really need to contact the author of that code for support. We would not generally issue support for custom items

Balto got a reaction from Daniel F in Problem with PHP version 8.0
I have found out what was causing the problem: this plugin which is not updated for version 4.7: https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7853-online-indicator/

Balto got a reaction from Edjazoli in Problem with PHP version 8.0
Hello! Thank you for your reply!
I have been there and I have seen the CSS is unmodified:
Yes, but I have to understand what cause the problem, otherwise it will surely happen again in the future when PHP 7.4 will not be supported anymore!

Balto got a reaction from Edjazoli in Problem with PHP version 8.0
Update: Actually yesterday the problem was fixed by itself 30-45 minutes after the downgrade to PHP 7.4. The problem was still happening after the downgrade, but then some minutes later it was fixed by itself. I didn't do anything and my hosting service also didn't do anything. Is that possible? And is it possible that would happen also if I keep PHP 8.0?

Balto reacted to Marc Stridgen in Upgrade to PHP 8
8.1 yes, but not 8.0. Its likely you were missing requirements. I would suggest upgrading first, and then checking everything, then upgrading to PHP 8

This issue has been resolved in 4.7.0 which has recently been released. Please upgrade to that version to resolve this, and of course, let us know if you are still seeing any issues.
