Updated to 1.0.9

New Features

• Commerce
  • Added points as a payment gateway to be used for purchases
    • Each currency you use will have a conversion rate ( Example, if you are using USD and set it to 100 then a $10 item would cost 1,000 points )
  • Removed the ability to sell points via commerce packages ( This has been replaced read below )
  • Added the ability for members to buy points by entering the amount they want to buy
    • Each currency you use has it's own conversion rate ( Example, if you are using USD and set it to 100 then each $1 spent will give the user 100 points )
      • Set the minimum amount users are allowed to buy
      • Set the maximum amount users are allowed to buy ( This is per transaction )
      • Set price examples
        • Create a list of points & on the buying points page it will show a list of example prices with the list of points you created along with the price they would cost
      • When a user changes the amount of points they are buying, the checkout button will update with the price of the points

Enhancements

• Removed all database columns linked to and of the IPS apps and or core_xxx tables and created custom ones for this app

Bug Fix

• Fixed the bug in the ACP membership upgrade page for if you have a deleted usergroup in there it would throw a error

NOTE...

• If you are using the points payment method for commerce & then the downloads app allowing members to charge points for their uploads then you will need to disable the points payment method from the downloads app ( You can do this in the downloads settings via the ACP ) as it will clash and not award any point commission to the uploader you may of set, The uploader will still be able to charge points for their files when the points payment method is removed as it uses it's own functions

wait till the update comes ( hopefully tomorrow ) and we will check it all then

New update adds much better commerce features like shown in the images posted above it will allow you to use the points to pay for items and you can also sell points ( probably will be a widget ) where users can enter their own amount to buy

the price on the button will update when the members change the amount they want

what other errors are you getting from it? That page in the ACP is throwing a error cos it is looking for a group what ain't there, that is fixed for the update but if it is throwing errors elsewhere then I need to know so I can check the files, the apps files are too big and too many for me to browse through so if you let me know I will know where to look

honestly couldn't say mate, could take an hour could take a week etc it will all depend how to code will be, but I will look into it this week, I will be releasing a update in a couple of days so it probably won't be in that as it is a little one with just a couple things extra in there ( I am currently doing 5 updates in total atm just mixing through them bit by bit ) and don't want to hold it off incase that could take a while

Don't think that is anything to do with this file, I can review any of my files here and also on my own site, always been able to as long as I have downloaded it, it will let me review ( settings are set to download before review on downloads settings )

I been here for just over 2 years and have never seen another tournaments app, I know there was on for 3 but never seen it etc so can't help with anything to do with that 😀, no one should have a v3 app in their application list on 4, if they ain't updated by now then it is more than likely it will never get updated so they all should be gone anyway

Do you mean the nav tabs? you can move them and add more via the menu manager in the ACP, you could create your own add tab to it if you create a url tab

to be fair, the code in that was a killer and took ages to write, it was my biggest code at the time of writing it and to get it to create the league tables and matches with the likes of 20 teams totaling 380 games needing to be created what are unique and home & away etc is not that easy to do, then it needs to be done for the rest lol

yeah you can use the pop up, all it means if you edit things etc and it checks for a referrer on saving, it will send you to the chatrooms page instead of the page you are on, The pop up won't display on the chatrooms them self nor the profiles chatrooms as they will just clash so it goes away on them 2 pages, as soon as you save it, if you get directed to the chatroom, change pages and it will show like normal showing your saved chatroom

no nothing like that, what browser are you using? try with firefox or something, I remember @Daniel F saying before about using the new ips referrer bit to make sure we put a check as some browsers don't support it, and for it to send you to the 2nd it means your browser don't support it

and when selecting the main chat room, it takes away the new popup chat and goes to the main chatroom page

 

i did the support tool already, still same results

it's your browser, it don't support referrals, it basically checks if there is a referrer what should be the url you are on and if it has one then refer if not go to the chatroom's url, because it is global I can not manually set a url to go to as could be on the forums / downloads / etc so it needs to be a referrer or the next best thing what is the chatrooms url.

yes the global one will remove the widgets as they won't be needed, Basically if you set the default room to one what is private it will show the box closed with the title 'Select A Chatroom' to click and it will bring up a list of chatrooms they have permission to view to choose from, or they can choose their own or a clubs room etc, the only time that box won't show if set is if the global room is private and a guest is viewing as guests can't set a option to change the rooms

New Features

• Added the ability for moderators to post announcements
  • These announcements can be sent to multiple rooms at the same time with a option to send to all
• Added the ability to use a global popup chatroom what is stuck to the bottom of the users screens instead of using widgets
  • Admins will set a default room for the global chatroom
  • Members can change their default room and choose from a mixture of chatrooms to use as their global room
    • Normal Chatrooms ( Members can select to use any ACP created chatroom they have permission to view )
    • Member Rooms ( Members can select to use their own or another members chatroom )
    • Club Chatrooms ( Members can select to use one of their clubs chatrooms )
• Added the ability for members to make their profile chatrooms private with and the ability for them to choose certain members what will be able to view and chat in their rooms ( This will also work with the global room if a user tries to add it as their global one )

There is a lot there but there are some good idea's, I will go through them all and see what I can pull up, there is a coupe things it already does like the colour of the text you can set it via the editor and the moderators you can go to the ACP and moderators then create a new one set it to either a user group or certain members and only allow them to moderate xyz chatroom, It's a good list though and nothing I like better then new ideas for my stuff, I got a couple things to do then I will start a new update for this 😀

No mate it don't do that, I could probably add a item what can send a pm once purchased and in that PM you could embed the PDF file so when they redeem it they can receive it via PM

Re-download and update the app, I have fixed the bug where the member rooms will show in the ACP tree's, didn't change the version as 1.0.8 is already in the works so just update the latest upload 😀
