    Obviously, yes! I totally forgot about the 'Donate' feature. Of course, this would be much easier. I had the 'award points' idea stuck in my head, I guess because I was thinking of sending points to multiple people at the same time.

    One workaround I came up with.

    Select the Mystery Points Box, rename it, possibly to 'Bonus Points', 'Enjoy', 'Thank You', etc.

    Set the min and max random amount to whatever you'd like to award them, set the win percent to 100%, then set the price of the item to a crazy amount. Then just give yourself an amount of points to cover the cost. Buy the item yourself, then send it to the person you want to give the points to. This should work right?

    Oh wow. I guess I will NEVER use this feature then. There must be a work around to awarding someone points. I will have to check it out. Thanks for posting this James, I appreciate the heads up.

    I've just recently started using Members Shop on my forum, but reading what you wrote about this bug, I decided NOT to award all members a certain amount of points when launching this new feature. Hopefully this can get fixed, as I would like to award people points here and there if I think they are deserving.

    If that's the case, could what I stated be treated as a future request? It honestly should work that way. It's a bit confusing the way it works now. The parent category name SHOULDN'T be able to be clicked on then. If I have 15 different subcategories under 1 parent category, when I click the parent category, it should show everything listed below it. Then to fine tune your search/viewing, is when you click on a subcategory name.

  6. In my DOWNLOADS section, I have a parent category of WALLPAPERS set. I have 2 subcategories under WALLPAPERS, which are 'Desktop' and 'Mobile'.

    The issue I am having. On the front end, on the sidebar in the 'Categories' box, you see the parent category of 'Wallpapers' with the content count of '21'. Underneath 'Desktop' shows '11' and 'Mobile' shows '10'. If I click on the word 'Wallpapers', nothing shows. From the way hierarchy works usually, this would show me ALL the "Wallpapers", regardless of subcategories. When I click on the parent category "Wallpapers", it says "No files in this category yet - Submit the first file".

    Could anyone tell me if I am missing something, a setting? I checked the Downloads / Settings, I don't see anything that would pertain to this.

    I was pretty much asking if the ability to be able to pay for a link to be featured or pinned with Member Shop points could be added in a future update, I'm assuming the answer is no. Thanks anyway.

  8. Not sure if this has already been asked, but since you've already integrated with Members Shop, is it possible to allow members to PAY to have links Featured or Pinned with Members Shop Points?

    Post embeds are working, Reaction button works. Mobile navigation bar at bottom, icons appear too big.

    Could it somehow be specific the device, or Android version? How many of your members using Android devices are experiencing this issue? Maybe they need to update their browser, it could also be the browser they are using? Let me try again on my phone with different browsers.

  11. I just did a test on my forum, using my Android phone, and the reactions on my forum seem to be working fine. YouTube and photo embeds seem to be working fine also.

    Did you try running the support tool to clear the cache? Not sure if that would help at all.

    Also, I just visited your forum on my Android phone, reactions and embeds appear fine, and are working.

    In your admin dashboard, in the top search bar, type in Reputation & Reactions, or in the left panel go to Members, then you will see under the MEMBER SETTINGS, Reputation & Reactions. Once  you open that, click on the 2nd tab, Reactions. Then for each reaction, you can edit and set points for each one.

  13. I've definitely more important questions and concerns that I am awaiting answers for, but I thought I'd point this out, as it may be a bug/glitch.

    I've checked every possible settings in Members Shop and all Permissions settings, and for some reason, even though Members Shop and all aspects of it should be fully disabled for my 'Members' group, there is still the 'Points Donation' option when clicking on their profile name and the drop down of settings show. In Applications, I even disabled Members Shop, and then set access only to Admin, and it still shows to non admins.

  14. A few questions, if you don't mind.

    1. Can members of the forum add entries to a Vote list/category? Or are they only added by admin/mods?

    2. Do these pages have to be made first in order for it to show up as an entry in the Vote list/category? Are the images and info manually entered?
    2.a The part that list the Director, can we change the background color, also can we enter other info here, example, Year Released, Producer, Genre, etc.

    3. If I read the description on the product page correctly, we can create as many Vote list as we'd like.

    For example,
    Best Movie of 2020.
    Best Movie of 2019.
    Best Movie by Director Quentin Tarantino.
    Best TV Series of the 80s'.

     

    4. Is it possible to show the image, especially movie posters, in full on the Vote page? Also, this way you will have room to show the description here also. Something about showing images cropped, cut off, just don't sit well with my OCD. 😔

    In the language file, I changed all references of the words "advert", "adverts" to "listing" and "listings". I also changed "Classifieds" to "Marketplace". When there is an update for the application, and I update, will I have to rename all this again?

    Thank you so much for the quick reply. I was trying to come up with a way to add or link to size guides on my product pages before activating this feature to members. I'll hold off until you release this update. Do you have any idea on a time frame for this? Within the next month, 3 months, 6 months or longer?
