All should be working again now with our download service. Thank you for your patience.

Jim M's post in (Poss bug) 4.7.3 Events app still named Calendar was marked as the answer
Are you using a custom language pack which may have this edited, by chance? If you revert that string, does it update to Events?

Jim M's post in Ranks of users disappeared in posts after upgrade to 4.7.3 was marked as the answer
Ranks have been moved to an image by the user's profile photo in content. When hovering over the image, you will see the rank:

Jim M's post in PHP8 Debian bullseye create_function() was marked as the answer
Please go to your conf_global.php file and remove anything refrencing IPB_Firewall (make a backup of your conf_global.php if you are unsure what is refrencing this). This is not our product and means that at some juncture while running version 3, your hosting was breached and this was added.

Jim M's post in Display Name changes reverting to email was marked as the answer
As you are using an SSO, you would need to work with the author of your SSO to resolve this issue. As once a display name is changed, there is nothing natively in our software to change that again, other than the same process so something is happening in either your SSO or a third party add-on.

Jim M's post in License URL Update was marked as the answer
I have changed this for you to your domain running there now. Please ensure that you are not using a Test license key as I saw that was set as well.

Jim M's post in IPS GEOLocation Service Wrong Location was marked as the answer
We utilize the GeoLite Free Geolocation data. As mentioned by MaxMind, it can be imprecise. Their paid version, which is the demo there, is more precise but still imprecise in reality.

Jim M's post in When is a the Nov monthly release out (when do I need to upgrade to the latest version of PHP? was marked as the answer
The November release will likely be some time in the first 2 weeks of November as Matt mentioned here. As there will be a holiday in the US towards the end of the month.
Invision Community 4.7 is compatible with PHP 8.0 and 8.1 so if you have time before the November release, it is always advised to upgrade so you're not scrambling when you want to do the 4.7.4 (aka the November release).

Jim M's post in Events / Calendar not working after upgrade to 4.7.3. Error code 1S160/2 was marked as the answer
Looks like the FURLs were customized in some manner as the system is not allowing an update of these to the new "Events" scheme. I would advise using the "Revert" button in ACP -> System -> Advanced Configuration -> Friendly URLs to revert this and it should work again:

Jim M's post in Users can't register anymore (invalid_grant) was marked as the answer
As you're using CloudFlare, you will want to enable "Trust IP addresses provided by proxies?" in ACP -> System -> Advanced Configuration. That will prevent CloudFlare's IP addresses from being used as the user's and creating a false positive in the Spam Defense system.

Jim M's post in Stock reply only visible to admin group? was marked as the answer
Are the permissions on the button setup correctly for your use? You can find this in ACP -> Customization -> Toolbars -> click the stock replies button.
If so, could you please provide a user's display name or ID that is having issues?

Jim M's post in Custom HTML + CSS was marked as the answer
Split this into a new topic for you 🙂 .
Depends all what you're attempting to do. If you want to add/modify CSS, using the custom.css file in your theme would be advised. If you want to modify HTML in your theme, that can be done as well. For more info on that, can go to: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/themes-and-customizations/getting-started-with-themes_324/introduction-to-themes-r108/
There is also Pages where you can create a whole new page based on your custom HTML/CSS. Which you can read about here: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/suite-applications/pages/core-concepts/introduction-to-pages-r149/
However, customizations, such as all the above are outside our scope of support.

Jim M's post in Footer Theme by etc was marked as the answer
Our "Powered by Invision Community" is required per our license agreement. There is a one-time removal fee which you can pay for.
The theme by line, you will need to contact your theme's author. That is not inserted by our core software.

Jim M's post in GeoIP Error was marked as the answer
If you have made quite a lot of subsequent requests to our server for this, you might be temporarily blocked. I would suggest give it 15 min and try again.

Jim M's post in Gallery stopped working with fatal error was marked as the answer
Please switch to an unmodified theme and test again. If that does not resolve the error, please disable all third party applications and plugins. Odds are it’s something there.

Jim M's post in ACP System Admin Functions Missing or Misplaced was marked as the answer
If you have any UI, suggestions you're welcome to provide those in our Feature Suggestion forum. In short though, version 4 is radically different and technologically more sound with data than version 3 was so you should not have to do these recount tools or clear tools unless there is a specific need. If you are encountering an issue or have a question, it may be better for us to investigate what is happening here.

Jim M's post in Acheivements, Post Counts, Rules, Ranks/Badges Data Issues was marked as the answer
You will want to setup your Achievement rules, ranks, etc... then use the rebuild button in ACP -> Members -> Achievements -> Settings.

Jim M's post in Twitter login says "Something went wrong. Please try again." was marked as the answer
Pretty sure Twitter disabled the old v1 of their login API so you can't create a new application on the old version. It is only the new version now. This is something which we are working to upgrade towards.

Jim M's post in Theme html mod was marked as the answer
You wouldn't need to remove them for the upgrade to happen. You would just need to manually upgrade the template afterwards.
-
Jim M's post in Template Forums / Front / Topics / Post is throwing an error after upgrade was marked as the answer
You will want to disable all third party applications/plugins and switch to an unmodified theme. These are most often related to one of these being out of date or not compatible with the release you're on so eliminating this is the first step.

Jim M's post in Google Maps Integration Troubleshooting was marked as the answer
You would only use one or the other. Mapbox does not have address prediction.

Jim M's post in Linking back to the gallery was marked as the answer
If you want all the information of the gallery photo, I would just have them post the link to the gallery photo, cut out the middleman. As there is no way to embed all the information of the gallery photo in forums. You can insert a gallery image, but it will not contain all the data in Gallery.
Of course, I do not know the purpose of the forum in this context but what are you gaining with the forum topic? Gallery has the ability for users to comment directly on the gallery album/photo. Having your users go directly to the gallery album or photo may be the best way to curve any confusion and any duplication of data. Then in the forum, if you do need to add a relationship between a forum topic and gallery album/image, just post the gallery album or photo's URL.

Jim M's post in Mobile widget location was marked as the answer
Anything in the sidebar would be moved to the bottom in the responsive layout. You will need to put your block in the top block location (see screenshot), if you wish for it to remain at the top on mobile.

Jim M's post in v4.7.3 + php8 upgrade = no AdminCP Dashboard was marked as the answer
You would want to check what the 500 Internal Server Error is and check with your hosting provider/server administrator to resolve any server issues. Then pass any issues with our software to us here. If you're using any third-party widgets on the Dashboard, you'll want to disable those and see if that helps.
