Posted October 27, 20222 yr Hi, after the latest upgrade to v4.7.3 - Events / Calendar does not work any longer. The Events cannot be accessed at all, when I click on "+" to create en Event I get the error code 1S160/2, and saying the page does not exist. Any idea why this happens?
October 27, 20222 yr Author Seems to be a friendly URL problem. I de-activated friendly URLs and then it worked, I could view Events, create events, look at previously posted events etc. However, I really want friendly URLs and when I activate them again, the error above re-appears. Have tried to rebuild site-map and also clear system cache but that does not fix this issue. Any solution or work-around?
October 27, 20222 yr Community Expert You would need to work with whoever set up your custom friendly URLs for you. Its likely one of them simply conflicts with the new URLs for events
October 27, 20222 yr Author I have only used the friendly URLs function as part of the software, see screen shot, these are the settings I have used for a long time. You mean I need a consultant for this? I thought it was possible just to use the options in the Dashboard.
October 27, 20222 yr Author I found a work-around; when I unticked the "Rewrite URLs", I get friendly URLs (although with .../index.php?/...) and the Events works. @Marc Stridgen are you sure this is a problem with the IPB software? Edited October 27, 20222 yr by Stefan Johansson_72643
October 27, 20222 yr Community Expert Sorry, I actually misunderstood there. What I thought you meant is you had custom friendly URLs. If you have those, you should revert these first of all, as its likely causing the problem

If I toggle this function to *On*, I get this message saying "The page you requested does not exist" and the Error code 1S160/2 Is there somehting in the IPB software that causes this or is there a problem at my (or the host) end?
October 27, 20222 yr Community Expert We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. October 27, 20222 yr Community Expert OK. Please let us know once that is set up The only other thing it could be your end is customisation to the default htaccess

October 27, 20222 yr Community Expert Solution Looks like the FURLs were customized in some manner as the system is not allowing an update of these to the new "Events" scheme. I would advise using the "Revert" button in ACP -> System -> Advanced Configuration -> Friendly URLs to revert this and it should work again:
