Posted October 29, 20222 yr For a specific IP address, the built-in GEOLocation service is indicating "UK" as user country. However if I used https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo (I think IPS use this service) or what ever location tool, it shows "Lithuania" as user country. Both are far away locations. Is this something wrong with IPS GEOlocation service?
October 29, 20222 yr Community Expert Solution We utilize the GeoLite Free Geolocation data. As mentioned by MaxMind, it can be imprecise. Their paid version, which is the demo there, is more precise but still imprecise in reality.
