  1. Jim M's post in Formatting issues in new pages field was marked as the answer
Finally found it, it looks like the category also had it's own configured template. Once I switched that to an unmodified template, everything is working as it should and this formatting is not an issue. Thus, this is an error with the SuperGrid templates that you're using and you will need to contact the author for further assistance.
I would advise setting these to use the default selection in the Database rather than their own individual template. Just to avoid any confusion later on.
I have also restored this back to the SuperGrid template.
  2. Jim M's post in 500 Error when members try to register (4.7.2.1) was marked as the answer
Please disable all third party addons and switch to an unmodified theme then test again. If you’re still having issues, please contact your hosting provider to obtain the server error log entry for this issue.
  3. Jim M's post in Group rights was marked as the answer
Please ensure that the group has permissions in ACP -> System -> Applications -> expand System -> Profiles.
  4. Jim M's post in 4.7.4 Upgrade Issue was marked as the answer
This looks to be errors with your third-party applications/plugins which you are using. I have disabled them all and it appears that this has resolved the issue. Please only re-enable ones which are compatible with the latest release of 4.7.4.
  5. Jim M's post in Certain custom Profile field types not showing in Group Promotion rules was marked as the answer
Thank you. I have brought this up internally for review.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

  6. Jim M's post in Unable to access AdminCP after upgrade to 5.7.4 and site is offline was marked as the answer
Looks like it was an issue with the Cloud version, sorry for the confusion. I have fixed this issue on your Cloud community now. This was due to third party add-ons. Please ensure you upgrade all add-ons to be compatible with 4.7.4 and uninstall those who are not.
  7. Jim M's post in Problem with upgrading Invision Community from 4.5.4.2 to 4.7.4 was marked as the answer
Unfortunately, Invision Community 4.5 is not compatible with PHP 8 so you would need to likely apply the files for Invision Community 4.7.4 and then upgrade to PHP 8 to perform the upgrade.
Please ensure PHP 8 is compatible with our software by using the following tool:

  8. Jim M's post in Market Place was marked as the answer
Sorry, it can take some time for our Marketplace team to review your theme and approve it depending on how many items are in the queue and then also, how large your theme is. Please be aware that it is the weekend now and our Marketplace team only works during regular business hours so it may not be till next week till our team will advance.
  9. Jim M's post in uncaught_exception was marked as the answer
The following would be server configuration item with your MySQL server. This is the error MySQL is coming back with when we attempt to run the query:
The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay
Please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
  10. Jim M's post in Reactions not appearing whether enabled or disabled, always renders ipsHide was marked as the answer
With the account provided, I am not seeing any issues. However, the only content I see is by the individual who you are logged in as and as you have "Members can react to their own content?" disabled, you would only be able to react to other individual's content. You will want to either enable the setting mentioned or create content by someone else to test reactions.
  11. Jim M's post in Post/Rep Counts Inconsistency was marked as the answer
Looking in your Archived forum category, there were a few forums in there with content count increase disabled. If there was a content count rebuild during this process, this would account for what you're seeing here if the user had content in there.
Additionally, while looking into this, your MySQL server returned an error due to too many connections so you will want to investigate that with your hosting provider.
  12. Jim M's post in Issue updating to 4.7.4: tries to upgrade gallery table, difference in column count. [WORKAROUND] was marked as the answer
You will always want to upgrade all applications together (one of the reason why we removed that option to deselect other core applications now). If you upgrade one application but not others, the others that are not upgraded will be disabled anyway so if you're not using Gallery, I'd suggest uninstalling it.
  13. Jim M's post in Staff Directory was marked as the answer
You can go to ACP -> System -> Staff Directory and remove the administrator group then just add in the user(s) who you want to be there.
You can see this guide for more assistance:

  14. Jim M's post in Like button is invisible until I hover over it was marked as the answer
As you're using a custom theme, I'd test this on an unmodified theme to see if this is still present. If this issue is not present, please contact your theme's author.

That is indeed what is being mentioned 🙂 . You will want to click the "Manual Upload" link here:

  16. Jim M's post in "are also here now" notification was marked as the answer
This is one of our "Real Time" features on our Cloud platform. I'm afraid, this is not available on self-hosted. If you're interested in exploring this and many more of our Cloud features, please see: https://invisioncommunity.com/buy
  17. Jim M's post in Upgrade to 4.7.4 stuck at error was marked as the answer
Please be advised I have moved this to a ticket so we can further investigate this for you. Please watch your email for further correspondence.
  18. Jim M's post in Got stuck during upgrade to 4.7.4 was marked as the answer
All should be working again now with our download service. Thank you for your patience.
  19. Jim M's post in (Poss bug) 4.7.3 Events app still named Calendar was marked as the answer
Are you using a custom language pack which may have this edited, by chance? If you revert that string, does it update to Events?
  20. Jim M's post in Ranks of users disappeared in posts after upgrade to 4.7.3 was marked as the answer
Ranks have been moved to an image by the user's profile photo in content. When hovering over the image, you will see the rank:

  21. Jim M's post in PHP8 Debian bullseye create_function() was marked as the answer
Please go to your conf_global.php file and remove anything refrencing IPB_Firewall (make a backup of your conf_global.php if you are unsure what is refrencing this). This is not our product and means that at some juncture while running version 3, your hosting was breached and this was added.
  22. Jim M's post in Display Name changes reverting to email was marked as the answer
As you are using an SSO, you would need to work with the author of your SSO to resolve this issue. As once a display name is changed, there is nothing natively in our software to change that again, other than the same process so something is happening in either your SSO or a third party add-on.
  23. Jim M's post in License URL Update was marked as the answer
I have changed this for you to your domain running there now. Please ensure that you are not using a Test license key as I saw that was set as well.
  24. Jim M's post in IPS GEOLocation Service Wrong Location was marked as the answer
We utilize the GeoLite Free Geolocation data. As mentioned by MaxMind, it can be imprecise. Their paid version, which is the demo there, is more precise but still imprecise in reality.
  25. Jim M's post in When is a the Nov monthly release out (when do I need to upgrade to the latest version of PHP? was marked as the answer
The November release will likely be some time in the first 2 weeks of November as Matt mentioned here. As there will be a holiday in the US towards the end of the month.
Invision Community 4.7 is compatible with PHP 8.0 and 8.1 so if you have time before the November release, it is always advised to upgrade so you're not scrambling when you want to do the 4.7.4 (aka the November release).
