byMarcoX reacted to Matt in A (very) brief look at Invision Community 5
As you may know, Invision Community 5 is currently in development, and progress has been great, with many areas starting to come together.
Almost all of the significant code restructuring has been completed, with much progress on the UI and the new theme bearing fruit. A fair few new features are complete, but some aren't quite ready to show, as they need a little love from Ehren.
I wanted to share a little teaser of Invision Community 5; how many new things or changes can you spot?
The small print
Please remember that the features, functionality and UI shown in this little teaser are pre-beta, so they are subject to change. The features and functionality shown here aren't all that has been completed; many new features are 'code-complete' but waiting for some UI polish before we're ready to share more. Essentially, what you're seeing is a work in progress.
We don't have a release timeframe in mind yet, but we'll let you know when we do!

Still no news from @Michael.J ? Does anyone know of another video module that works? Thank you
yet his last visit, was yesterday, at 09:16 AM, bizzare that he does not want to answer all the questions he is asked, at least out of respect or courtesy, if you connect, it is that there is nothing serious, right? đ¤đ

Hi Guys,
Just want to make sure that we are not going after Michael. Maybe he is away for a legit reason.Â
We are just saying, if you are going to leave the community or you have to go away for a long time, just let us know; we will take care ourselves.Â
That's all....Â
Peace....

Yes, for sure! Let's just hope that nothing happened to him, that his health is good and that he has no worries, the rest is that blah. đ

Well, will have to find another video application, since this one is Out of Service and its creator disappeared, overnight and start all over again:( Cool!Â
As I said, you pay every 6 months and no new update of September 19, 2022, had to suspect and stop paying!
We should almost ask for the reimbursement of the sums paid for nothing!
Thanks to @Adriano Faria for his valuable help đ
OK, but in this case, you ask for a price to sell your app and you don't ask for a subscription (additional fees) if you're not sure to continue, since it's a hobby
I have been creating websites for 25 years by hobby and so voluntarily, if I ask for money, I assume the duties that go with it

What's the point of having to pay every 6 months, every year, if it's only to have no response afterwards?! (and again, now I have to repay the full app) đ
The meters have not been working for several weeks...

it worked, at least it erased all the languages (the 2 duplicates), I had to delete and reinstall the theme to get the languages back, and recreate my theme, but the main thing is that now everything works! Thank you for your help and your after-sales service, cordially.

@byMarcoX Try this SQL in your PMA:
DELETE FROM core_sys_lang_words WHERE word_key LIKE '%fluent_%'; Before run this SQLÂ make a backup your database.
Formation of new keys during update is an IPS error, not a theme.

byMarcoX reacted to aXenDev in [Dark / Light] Fluent Design Theme Edition - Topic Support
Yes, as soon as IPS releases devtools for the latest version, I will start checking my applications and themes.
Edit:
@byMarcoXÂ new version is pending for approval.

It's good it works, the .htaccess file was missing thank you all for your precious help, I forgot to add it âşď¸

byMarcoX reacted to Ryan Ashbrook in Redirection issue, IPB [4.6.9] / WordPress conflict
Do you have the appropriate htaccess files in both directories? You should make sure you download the .htaccess file from your ACP > System > Search Engine Optimization > Rewrite URL's - you can download the file from the description.
Once you download that make sure place it in your forum directory, and not in the root of the site (that should still contain your .htaccess file from WordPress).

Would need to make sure your WordPress .htacccess doesnât interfere with your Invision Community installation. It sounds like WordPress is redirecting away from your forum directory.Â
