PatrickRQ reacted to Marc Stridgen in PayPal - physical vs non-physical products, conflict with PayPal staff, money put on hold
I have flagged this to our developers, as I mentioned. The reason I mention the above, is due to the setting itself. You can select you wish to ask for a billing and shipping address for non-physical items, but cannot select one or the other. So it may be that this needs to be changed.
I do need to emphasise though that I have flagged to our developers for the reason Im not sure what we can and cannot send. So there is every possibility that may be incorrect

PatrickRQ got a reaction from Sonya* in FX Pages - a free collection of Pages templates
I have suggestion for news. The cover image positioning or use of separated images. This is because the miniatures are OK but when we enter the news the cover image is often positioned not as intended (centered). Actually it is hard to prepare cover image that will display properly on miniature (news listing) and inside the news (news display) on different resolutions. This is why it is best to use different images or implement interactive positioning. Thanks.

PatrickRQ got a reaction from Adriano Faria in Urgently request: Changes in "Agree with Cookies" for the regulatory authorities request
IPS can't fully understand Europe Law problems which is nonsense at most of the cases, they are USA, two different worlds. No offense, I don't know USA Law problems too 😛
Problem of European Law is that it is too detailed in area of data collection and taxing/invoicing. I don't know a single platform available for public purchase that can handle both well.

PatrickRQ got a reaction from Sonya* in Sign As member is a bit vulnerable
@Randy Calvert, it won't help. Using restricted access is designed to use specific admin permissions for specific member or group. Problem here is the "Sign as member" privilege which allows to sign as any member. let's say you give "assign as member" to your super mods or junior admins - they will be able to login as you - his majesty the king ^^

PatrickRQ got a reaction from OptimusBain in Upgrade To Cloud Information
@OptimusBain, @Chris027 You know when vendor introduces such moves like the new link in ACP adverting some service? From own past experience I may guess that when income or interest drops. I believe hard times are coming, I already started to feel the change of market myself, probably due to situation around the world, high inflation (constantly increasing living prices) and very likely upcoming world war.

PatrickRQ got a reaction from IP-Gamers in Russian spammers
Ability to include Q/A would be enough to prevent that. Seems Google captcha is s***, can be bypassed easily.

Coming to a conclusion we have to simply wish IPS a good competitor to get them "motivated" again 😄

PatrickRQ got a reaction from ZLTRGO in [Commerce] Support Request change department in ACP, truncated department names
As per image, would be best to have them visible in full. Can't fix myself because you IPS decided to make ACP templates a secret. Forgive me my malice.

PatrickRQ reacted to Stuart Silvester in Sitemap.xml to submit for google console
Sitemaps are automatically submitted to Google when they're generated/updated.
However, if you want it to be viewable in Google Search Console you still need to submit it for it to show up in the UI. <community_url>/sitemap.php is the correct URL to submit

PatrickRQ reacted to Sonya* in Sitemap.xml to submit for google console
You just submit sitemap.php in Google Search Console, this includes all XML files.

PatrickRQ reacted to Adriano Faria in [Commerce] Support Department name
You translate it in the department form:
And it is stored in language bits table but it isn’t accessible via translate tool.

PatrickRQ got a reaction from OptimusBain in [Commerce] Support Filters "Last I replied"
I miss ability I had in IPB3, "last replied by me". Current filters does not allow to configure such, can't achieve it from current options. Instead I can configure last replied of any staff, what is not always an expected result.

PatrickRQ reacted to Adriano Faria in [Commerce] Support Department name
It’s a language so you can translate it according to your language.
It is like that to all nodes (forums/categories), extra fields, warning system reasons, etc.

PatrickRQ reacted to Sonya* in Similar content in topic view
@Marc Stridgen, I believe @PatrickRQ is looking for the block you use here on this community:
You do not use tags, so the block can only be based on titles. And this is only available if using ElasticSearch, right? Or is it a kind of custom IPS block? 🤨

PatrickRQ reacted to Stuart Silvester in Reverse Array order in template
$files isn't an array, but an Iterator.
You might be able to do something like
{{foreach array_reverse( iterator_to_array( $files ) ) as $k => $file}} I haven't tested and I'm not certain that it'll work, but worth a try.

I have tagged our developers to respond on that one.

PatrickRQ got a reaction from OptimusBain in Hump Day: 4.6.11 Beta 1 is out + happy birthdays
@OptimusBain, maybe we just push them too much and they simply "avoid" it? 😄 Telling that from own experience, I also do not like "pain is the ass" customers, however sometimes must become "the pain" myself.

Please IPS, make sure every maintenance update contains fixed ALL Commerce issues reported earlier. This is product used commercially, it should have "no" known issues unresolved for long.

PatrickRQ got a reaction from ZLTRGO in generate PDF invoice and download all invoices by date range
@opentype, products used for commercial purpose should always receive higher care, at least should make sure all issues affecting their functionality are sorted on regular basis. This is my personal opinion. Where I can live with temporary broken forum / blog / gallery etc, it is hard to live with broken store 😞
