The events app is not a whole new app.  It's an updated calendar.

Request an enhancement to the calendar to be able to set the recurrence of an event by day of the week (e.g. 1st Saturday of each month).
This is a basic functionality available on phone calendars, and it would be great to have this functionality on our Forum calendar.
    Reasoning:
We have several recurring events that we are having trouble managing because the calendar "repeat" function just goes by days/weeks/months (e.g. repeat in 4 weeks).
This doesn't work for our Forum because many of our events simply recur on the same day in sequence each month e.g. "First Saturday of the Month."  We use "repeat in 4 weeks" but as soon as we have a month with 5 of the given day (for example, January 2022 has 5 Saturdays) the timing is screwed up.  The next recurrence of a First Saturday event is now on the Last Saturday of January instead of the First Saturday in February, and every recurrence after that is incorrect also.  This is confusing to our members, and anyone looking ahead to a specific month sees incorrect information.  We get complaints from our members about the calendar being incorrect.
To work around this, we have to wait until the event has passed, and then manually update the event.  This is annoying and also causes us to lose the history of how long an event has actually been running, because to work around the repeat issue we must update the start date.

    Hello,
I am working on a new site and since Invision does not support events recurring by X day of the month.  I figured that I would simply do an iCal import for those events.  However, the feed is not bringing in the recurring events at all.  It works perfectly fine for stand alone events, but recurring events are not added to the calendar.

Invoiced for payment subscriptions seem incredibly outdated in 2022.  So throwing my support in to get this fixed as it is absolutely not how the average user would expect the feature to work.

The issue: when someone let’s a subscription (product subscription or regular subscription) expire, they will later not be able to buy it again, because the invoice on file prevents a new subscription. But the existing subscription also cannot be renewed because the invoice has expired. This can only be solved by intervention from an admin (manually finding and deleting these invoices), but there might be hundreds of those and it would require a constant monitoring of expired invoices.
The solution: The check that prevents a new subscription with an invoice on file should be removed or adjusted. Someone who doesn’t have a subscription anymore, because subscription and invoice have expired, must be treated like anyone who never had a subscription. Both groups should see exactly the same offers because their status in relation to these subscriptions is the same.
Why it matters: People run into this problem all the time and it’s not just an inconvenience, it it costing them money, because people who would want to pay cannot pay and probably just give up. Here are just a few examples from the recent days (and I have observed this and commented on it for years):
Subscription buttons don't show up. (yesterday)
    Subscriptions Bug (yesterday)
invoice has expired but member cannot renew (7 days ago)
The development time to fix this is probably much cheaper than having IPS support deal with this issue for years, constantly identifying the issue and guiding people through the process of the possible work-arounds. So it would be a win-win situation to finally fix this. 😉

The default custom CSS for the block looks something like this:
    .app_cms_pagebuilderoembed_mp1qzgnrk { } Change it to:
.app_cms_pagebuilderoembed_mp1qzgnrk .ipsEmbeddedVideo { width:50%; } Just to give you an idea. Don’t copy this code. Targeting the .ipsEmbeddedVideo is the key.

A long shot I know, but I'd love to see the gallery become a truly video-friendly place.
    > Automatic thumbnail option (generated from midway point in video perhaps)
    > Video compression options
    > Inbuilt video player, rather than relying on users browser's video player.

Would be willing to pay for anyone who developed these features too.
