  2. So the content is currently stored as "[ISBN=3956691416]"? What do you want it replaced with? If you don't know what it is then figure out what you might want to replace it with and then come back here and provide the code. If I am able to, I'll see if I can dig up my query from my own efforts.
  3. Might have to get busy with SQL - it's how I converted my custom bbcode prior to upgrading to IPS 4.x Post an example of one your custom bbcodes for people to look at - what are the tags used? What do they convert to?
  4. Search your ACP for 'Reputation' and you will find the relevant settings - enabling it, setting what each user group can do etc.
  5. These are the items you can control via Settings: You said "Some topics" - how many pages do those topics have?
  6. You won't find it as the specific feature was phased out quite a long while ago. Instead, you now add buttons to the Editor via Customization -> Editor -> Toolbars -> Add button -> Custom
  7. Go ahead and buy it then - it's your call, not ours. Just offering up options.
  8. I would suggest that you back off the upgrade, revert back to your prior version and look at what you have and whether you need it. If that isn't an option, then you would need to remove Commerce as an application prior to upgrading - whether that can be done at the point you are at, I do not know. And it also comes down to whether you need Commerce too. If you can't go back, and are indeed stuck, then I would advice raising a ticket with IPS to ask them for their advice on the predicament you have ended up in.
  9. One question...have you purchased the 'Commerce' application (used to be called 'nexus') when you did the following: "So I was forced to purchase the software all over again " because what you are being told there is that you have it on your site but the files are not for the version you are trying to upgrade to.....in other words they are not included in the package of files you have uploaded.
  10. Maybe. But it is a Safari bug - seen it loads of times over the past few years, pops up every so often on both internal (to my employers - common items = GZip and Safari) and externally (various sites, no common denominator other than Safari) Another option - get the user to clear their browser cookies...that used to work, maybe it still does.
  11. Turn off Gzip compression on your site/server - or tell them to use a different browser (iIt's a common Safari bug)
  12. Turn on the "can edit own content" setting and watch what appears.
  13. It is default IPS Editor functionality, so maybe. If it isn't working as shown above then log a support ticket.
  14. Create a reply to this topic.....then type and type and type and type......and keep typing.....then "accidentally" navigate away to another page. Then come back to the topic and create a new reply.....
  15. This is the most likely cause https://jira.mariadb.org/browse/MDEV-24121
  16. Update on IPS 4.5 version for you... I've got the following at near-completion and/or being tested: (NE) Hide Content (NE) HTML5 Audio/Video Player (NE) oembedServices Management I'm now going to stop working on several at once, and concentrate specifically on them in the order above. Following the release of the first, I will move on to the next and so on. With a bit of luck (i.e. my day job doesn't get in the way) I am hoping to get (NE) Hide Content finished over the next few days with a submission to the MarketPlace early next week. Note: all of the above have been converted from Plugins to Applications, and they each contain functionality which would now be under much closer scrutiny for MarketPlace release - as such, they need to be right so I am taking my time with them. Once I've got those out of the way, I can move on to a few other items on my list.

  19. Wouldn't a middle-ground option with MariaDB work better? Upgrade MariaDB from 10.0 to 10.1, - let the dust settle, ensure all good with 3.4.8 Upgrade 3.4.8 to 4.5.4 - let the dust settle, ensure all good with 4.5.4 Upgrade MariaDB to 10.2 (or later) You can probably tell I am a huge fan of "one change at a time" - I've lost count of the amount of times I've cringed when a customer (in my day job) has said "We plan to apply OS updates, then upgrade SQL, then make a firewall change, then upgrade the software you specialise in" 😄
