  1. I think LTS is more important for enterprise, but yes, it's one advantage to consider. Upgrading at a large scale can be expensive and LTS is more important then. As I just manage my servers myself, needing to upgrade once every 5 years is not really an issue. Both have good 3rd party repo support and both are quick to release security patches. Personally speaking, I've had more stability and compatibility issues for my needs with CentOS than Debian any time I've had to use it, but it's really a matter of personal preference, both are fine, neither is better than the other in any significant way outside of maybe LTS. If you're contemplating between the two on a new system, try working with both in a virtualized environment for a bit and see which you think feels better to you. Both are well supported and widely used.
  2. I've been using Debian for the last 10+ years on all of my production servers and have never had any OS or distribution related issues. Ubuntu is a different story, but that's Ubuntu, not Debian.
  3. If you're running into issues, please don't be afraid to contact me and I'm happy to help you through them
  4. You could use a theme hook to accomplish this, or less ideally edit the template directly, but you'll need to hire a developer to do the prior. It would be a simple plug-in to make however.
  5. I've heard of CentMin, it was still active around the time I wrote this I think. I don't use CentOS so unfortunately have no experience or say on it in that area, but it seemed like a nice solution when I looked at it before.
  6. If you would like, you can send me a message here and I can help you get upgraded fee of charge. You are still in the clients group, so I believe your license should still be active.
  7. Some of these are indeed not registered on kickbox as disposable yet. I'll forward them to be added. I'll see if I can add support for verifymail.io too, but as this is a paid service you'd need an active subscription with them to use their e-mail verification. They may be a bit quicker adding some of these compared to Kickbox, but the prior does not require any form of monthly payment to utilize their API.
  8. I'll look into this and see if there are any issues with the API endpoint or databases that the application is using. Can you provide me with some sample domains (not full emails of course) that are not being filtered?

I apologize for the inconvenience, this should be resolved now. If you still can't renew, try accessing the page again in about an hour or so and it should hopefully be working then.

Hello! The pricing structure hasn't changed in years. I try and keep the price as reasonable as I can for the time spent developing the application and maintaining it.
  11. This is client-side JavaScript code. It's not a security vulnerability, it's supposed to be viewable by the client.
  12. Are you using my application Radical Tags by chance, and if so, have you updated it to the latest build? Only asking because this was a DEV mode specific bug that occurs in certain configurations. If not, it likely means some other application is triggering this warning. The warnings don't display outside of dev mode. Can you check your system log in the AdminCP? You should be able to find something there.

Can you please send me a message here? I cannot reproduce this locally and will likely need to take a look at your specific installs configuration to figure out why it is still happening. This error should not be occuring in the latest build so there is something environment specific causing the error to still be displayed. IPS has stated this bug should be fixed in the next release but I'm not willing to wait and see again on that front.

I'm not able to reproduce this locally, but I've added some additional checks to try and prevent this in a release pending approval now. If you still experience issues once that is live, please send me a message here and I'll figure out where the error is coming from.
  15. I additionally set up firewall rules on Cloudflare to block certain countries, such as China and Russia, from accessing the contact form. This is more of an extreme response, but if most all your spam is coming from these countries, it is an effective way to limit it, as simple IP banning and so on is not always an effective solution.

There were some communication issues apparently. I was told this was fixed in 4.7.6, but it turns out it actually wasn't, so there is still a workaround in the next build of the app currently pending approval on the marketplace. Hopefully that should be up and available soon.

Can either of you send me a message here and set me up with a temporary AdminCP account on your forum? This should have been fixed in 4.7.6, so we'll need to figure out why you're still seeing this issue.

There should be a "Remove Prefix" option that will appear once the updated build is approved on the marketplace and/or IPS releases a fix for this bug in the core software,
  19. Can you share what image processor you are using on your server? Is it GD, or Imagick? You should be able to simply search for "image" or "Imagick" in your ACP to verify this. Does this also happen when uploading this image as an attachment in a comment or post on your server or only when being used as an avatar?
  20. Can you provide me a screenshot list of any applications and plugins you have or have had installed, particularly anything to do with tags? I'll try and do some thorough testing with RT to see if I can reproduce any issues with RSS feeds, but this was an issue I saw reported by users that existed long before RT was installed. Actually, installing Radical Tags is what discovered the issue with blog entries having null tag entries long before the application was ever set up or used, because it wasn't programmed to accommodate for "null" tags and actively works to prevent this from occurring now, even to the point of providing a built in utility to clear empty tags from the database that may have existed prior. I do not believe RT is causing this because other users would have likely reported this issue if so, but I'll still do as much testing as I can to see if I can reproduce any issues.
  21. I don't believe there should be any background tasks on my application. @Ocean West can you provide an example RSS feed you are importing, and the exact configuration you are using for your imports? Can you reliably reproduce this with every import or does it happen randomly? This issue came up when people were migrating from ATP to Radical Tags a very long time ago. Do you still have ATP installed but disabled?

I'll push another update for this soon, but this is indeed a bug in IPS itself, so hopefully when this is fixed in the next patch for IPS it'll no longer be an issue anywhere

This error appears to be related to a bug in the current release of IPS. This issue has been reported and should be addressed in an upcoming IPS release, but I have also pushed an application update to the marketplace to provide a temporary workaround for the issue. However, with it being the holidays, I cannot guarantee when this update will be approved. I've additionally pushed an update that should allow users migrating from old Advanced Tags and Prefixes installations to still run the migration utility even after upgrading to the latest build of IPS, where ATP can no longer be enabled due to significant compatibility issues.
