After looking at it, it would be cool to have it as a way of making an alternate subscription plan on your site. As far as I know there are certain levels of patron's that can benefit from it. 
For example: on a forum a user wants to upgrade, they simply become a patron from their user account and reap all the benefits set by the admin. He/she be able to access areas now granted, and all the awards by the Patreon has to offer. Maybe like discounts to the store, more user privileges.
Basally just a new way of  being a Premium member on ones board.

I, personaly, spend time hammering my F5 button on your website, waiting for any new update about 4.3 !

My strategy is usually hiding ads while signed in. Guests can only see the ads, as a benefit of being signed in, no more ads are displayed. Unfortunately there isn't any impressions and clicks from the members themselves. But nothing subscription manager can't do to suffice that. Perhaps when 4.3 comes out I'll utilize the new tools.

Then just do it.  

Still Innovating Communities for 16 years straight. I have been a customer off and on quite a bit and seen it grow. I think I remember getting IPS License around oh 3.x era, before that I was using phpBB>SMF>MyBB>vB> than finally you guys. xenForo was pretty interesting, just wasn't my taste. You guys are always a step ahead of the game in my honest opinion.

Screenshots that walk you through creating a video album in 4.3 Gallery:

First step is to create a new album and upload my videos.  The uploading is quite snappy.  The storage step (which is not shown) took about 2 seconds, which is super fast for 4 files / 35 MB.
 

Allowed file types in default 4.3 installation.  You still control upload limits, file types, etc in group permissions as before.
 

Lightbox view of video.  Same as an image.  The sidebar will be pushed to the bottom in a vertical layout when using mobile.
 

Gallery album of videos.  This album contains 5 video uploads with screenshots, video titles, etc.
 

Video album on category index.  You can click on any video to open lightbox and directly play.

The only "power adder" on that engine are the aluminium heads (non-branded China version), so I've estimated it to be around 350bhp. But it turned out to be an inconvenient build as the pistons are too high, causing a compression of ~12:1, which means I need to run it on high octane fuel. Going to transfer the heads, cam and valvetrain to the engine that's currently in the truck (stock 350TBI) when my new throttle body arrives.

I've built that engine, and I'm about to tear down another one to put on some "not road legal or not for use in California" parts.
