I had a similar problem with RSS exports while using StackPath fixed with this exception:

AdminCP -> System -> Settings -> Advanced Configuration -> Security -> Trust IP addresses provided by proxies?

Glad to hear you resolved it. Likely at some point it failed to generate as clearing cache in our software will regenerate the file. It may have just been a temporary issue on your server or otherwise that then got cached by CloudFlare 🤷‍♂️.

You are receiving direct help from Invision employees, just it starts now publicly on our community 🙂 . 
You will want to clear your cache by going to ACP -> Support -> Clear systems caches to see if this helps your issue here.

This is a server issue. You need to contact your hosting about it:
ModSecurity: Access denied with code 44 (phase 2).  
They must either disable/tweak the ModSecurity rule triggered by the gallery uploads or disable it completely.

This is the best you'll get...
 
 

As you are upgrading from such an old release there will not be a mutual PHP version that both will work. You will need to upgrade your PHP to 8.1 and then do a manual upgrade to the latest release. 
 

Based on the error, your web host is using an old version of PHP. It's required to change it to at least PHP 8.0 to update to the latest version of Invision Community, but I believe PHP 8.1 is the current recommended PHP version. If you don't know how to change the PHP version yourself, your web host should be able to assist you.
Note: If you use cron jobs, you will need to update those after switching the PHP version as well.

A bit confused. Do you want to block those groups from adding new files or do you want to disable the downloads app for those groups?
If you want to block them from adding new files, deselect the UPLOAD FILES checkbox when editing a category permissions If you want to disable the app completely go to ACP > System > SITE FEATURES > Applications > Downloads and follow these steps: Click on the lock icon Put the app offline In the new settings that appear select which groups can still use  the application Eventually add a custom message for those who can't access it (like purchasing a subscription, etc) Click the save button

Indeed. However the topic you quoted still was not in any way related to spam protection. It was a question about DDOS protection on the server
hCaptcha can be used whether or not you have an active licence. As far as not liking them, I cant really help you there

You might want to post that on Feedback. This wasn't a problem on 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, but as features were added in 4.x the number of settings got wild. It took me a few months to go through every little one, and then a few months and few updates later many of them were changed or moved. Normal. 

No CSS/JS needed, as you'll find that the following editor setting dictates whether a 'gap' appears between the quote and the content:

"Go to next line"

You can go to ACP -> System -> Advanced Configuration to see the cron statement suggested. Please contact your hosting provider for how to enact that on your hosting.

Browsers will typically use the 'application icon' instead if you have a manifest/web app configured. Have a look at AdminCP > System > Web App.

Interesting. The staging site was a little "oh we could do this too" most people are interested in design and SSO.

For cloud customers, I suppose SSO isn't useful? I mean we can't add anything on top of our Invision Community software, right? 

Many clients need to integrate with external platforms. They might have a website or some sort of client login system. It's actually our most common customization we do 🙂 

We have soft launched this service at $129/month plus an implementation fee that varies a bit based on needs. We will post more information soon!

Is the addon something you can add on for say a month then remove?
Just thinking that when v5 comes out, something I didn’t completely slipped my mind when moving to the cloud, was not having that dev site to build a theme ready to go. 😬
I don’t stray too much from the default theme in general, easier on the regular upgrades. A staging site though would be helpful, however it’s something that I would only really find useful for say a week or two at most post v5 launch.
For myself, there isn’t anything else in this addon that I would use to be honest which kind of expensive, unless I can just do a month, a one off I could stomach the cost.
