Thanks for the info..  I only see three choices as shown below but can try a pay plan on the two bottom ones that appear to offer a pay plan and you enter your api info.  Miniature.io offers a pay plan but in the settings, you don't have a way to link your paid account to your local instance.

Also..  I'm confused "Regarding the provider, choose another."  Are you referencing to use the minature.io vs screenshotmachine?  I only tried something different since minature.io wasn't pulling images.  trying to do my own troubleshooting and obviously failing at it.  I'll keep trying

I totally agree with if you are a member of a club and that club has a blog and the leader allows a member to add to the blog then it should be allowed.  Its weird that a member of a club is so limited and there is no way currently to give them any permissions to do anything.  So really a member is a guest.  On an open club whats the difference of a member and a guest?  They both don't have permissions to do crap in a club.

Anyhow..  please make it possible for the leader of a club to allow members to have permission to add to a blog.  Its suppose to be a community after all.

I would also help with the contributions for podcast manager..   me 2, me 2..

I appreciate it.  Let me reach out.  Would be cool if you sold this app.  I'm sure it would sell more now a days than ever before.  It seems its pretty big demand for podcasting a vlogging and it doesn't seem very difficult.  Biggest piece is to have a decent player on the site (which you already have) and the ability to store files and then RSS feeds for playlists.  So close...  🙂. Yea I thought that but was really hoping..   crazy to think no one sells an app for Invision Community for podcast since its increased by 175% in one year.  Also its a way to make some money.  Just really need a playlist that we can have an RSS feed on.  You upload your MP3 to the playlist and the RSS feed is attached to Apply Music or Spotify and BOOM!  Seem's simple but must not be if no one has done it yet on Invision, just Wordpress sites for some reason.

He Adriano..  I love the apps your create and am hoping this app will do what I need it to but without a demo I can't tell.

My goal is to do podcasts from my server so need the ability to upload mp3's and have RSS feeds.  I might be able to get around alot if I can just upload the podcast mp3 to a blog post or forum topic or a page and it show the player automatically since I believe those will support RSS feeds.

Can I make your app work for my needs do you think?

The default theme is so limited and none of the developer themes appear to offer anything close (that I could tell) to what you have on your site which is what sold me on Invision Community for appearance.

Are we able to get the theme that Invision uses which is way more capable?

I am looking at moving my site from my current great hosting platform (liquidweb) to using something like Google Cloud to help me start getting my foot in the door with Cloud Computing.  Yea, I know AWS is the leader in this space but they did get over 6 years head start when the cloud boom was happening.

Had anyone deployed Invision Community in Google Cloud?  I see a ton of Wordpress sites for around $18/month in the Google Marketplace but who wants that crap where they nickel, dime you to death with every little thing you want to do?  Not me..  been there, learned my lesson and I'm sticking with Invision Community but unfortunately since I want to stick with Invision Community I run into situations like this were its not in the marketplace.

I'm considering just picking a LAMP CentOS 7 install in Marketplace to get the basics installed.  I considered a PLESK install but not sure that would get me where I want to be.

Ultimate goal would be to just replicate a standard hosting plan where you can have multiple sites on your instance without costing a fortune.

Anyone been where I'm at and figured out a way to put Invision Community on Google Cloud?  I would really really appreciate some guidance on the right way to do this.

Could someone help me figure out how I can go about exporting existing records from a database in pages from one site and import those records to the same database at the new site?  I really don't want to re-create each record manually.. which I have done before and it totally sucks and takes a ton of time.  Seems like there must be a way.  I exported the database from site1 and imported database.xml to site2 which doesn't include records but includes everything those records should need (I believe).  I just don't know how to get the records over.

Thanks..  Front-end Commerce for non-staff is what the Commerce Application needs.  Its very outdated and not very friendly and Invision Community is suppose to be about the community, not just staff.  But I know, they haven't done it yet and probably won't in the future so look for another solution which sucks because I love Invision Community.

It would be great if all the club owners could host there own store with there own payment options and own delivery etc..

EXAMPLE:

let's say I have a website for farmers to sell produce (focusing on the local farmer) and each club is actually a farm and in each club/farm they would be able to post there own products, delivery options, payment options.

Then based on the features clubs already provides (showing farms nearest you), you could possibly find farms that might offer local pickup or delivery.

Seems so easy in my head but I know this is probably very complicated and not realistic.

My thought behind clubs is to allow someone to start a club and basically host there own site on your website.  So why not offer store/commerce options also.

Sorry to bug you but I just saw a response earlier that says your quiz can't be mixed with one answer and multiple answers on the same quiz.  That seems odd so wanted to confirm that your quiz has to be defined up front if your answers are going to be only one answer type of quiz or a quiz that is multiple answers?

Nevermind..   I tried to delete this comment after I saw you just have to check what answer types are allowed in QUIZ

WOW, you really did quite an awesome job on this application from the preview.

1. Are you able to add video and audio files and then ask questions based on what they seen or heard? --note: would be great if they weren't able to play the audio/video more than 1 time.
2. Can you set it up so the tester doesn't see the answers in the results or anywhere?  Obviously if they got the answer wrong they need to study and retake the test.

Hello, I had the older version of Club Enhancements and really liked it but I guess it doesn’t work on 4.4 so I’m guessing we are suppose to buy this new version (any discounts for anyone who bought the original version? )

Also I’ve been looking for a way when a member joins a club that they Auto Follow content for that club.  A few people pointed towards Club Enhancements but I’m not seeing that feature listed.  Like Prago.. “is it in thar”? Or is this just a wish list for this application?

Not able to install for some reason.  Just purchased, tried to install

Disregard, kept deleting and recreating and all is good.  I think I had to create a category that is generic (outside of the club) and once I had that category, I could create usable categories within clubs.

Anyhow, just wanted you to know I got it working and I believe by creating a category under Links Directory.

Appears to be specific to links in Clubs only.  Creating a link outside the club seems to work just fine.

What am I missing that would be causing the ability to not create links in clubs?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but no one can post links and its because the permission settings won't save.

ACP - Members - Groups

Click the Lock button

Click on the Links Directory Tab

Make sure all six are checked

Click Save, then I go back in and  Add Links, Comment, Review Links and Bypass Moderation are not checked anymore.

No matter what group I try and add these permissions, the changes just won't save.

Any ideas for me to look at?

Mike, anyway I could get a demo of the Forms App?

I'm looking for two functions

1. Replace PDF form we use for Registration people fill out at the box office.  I would like to put necessary graphics and text and form fields and hand customer/patron an iPad so they can fill out the form.  Form must include the ability to utilize the camera app to take a picture and embed in form.  Then export form as a PDF and/or email and be searchable in the event of an issue we could sort by one of the fields.
2. Simple Resume submitting form that utilizes the ability to set different fields based on what you pick (or I have to create a bunch of different forms with really similar information). So if they pick Tampa as the office then it will have different dates for the events versus Michigan, etc..

Let me know thoughts or if its possible.  Obviously in all cases I want the results to be stored securly and based on group membership (managers / owners) to access results based on a field (for example my managers in Tampa would want to review resume's for tampa.. michigan manager doesn't care)
