Yea thats how I normally do it (if I don't have it already setup for automatic renewals) but when it expires you can no longer renew it and instead you get something like this:

So I clicked on Contact us to renew which basically does a contact form which I sent off but got the response

I can't renew since I don't have the option.  Once I have the option I'll be happy to.  So I'm stuck but hopefully not forever.

I think I got closer with the Live Meta Tag Editor but still at a loss

If you keep scrolling down on the bar on the right you will see the below options and my comments and questions if anyone might have an answer I appreciate it.

When I was with Wordpress I didn't even have to try to get a great Web Search Presence since there are many SEO WP friendly plugins but of course the rest of it is slow and clunky and expensive.

With Invision Community (which I love and have several sites built on) I have almost zero web search presence.  Now I'm not genius or expert web developer but it's a hobby, not a business (kinda) and I'm always learning.

I like to try and solve issues myself (yea I'm that guy that doesn't like to ask for help) but scouring the internet for anything to do with SEO and Invision Community I only find one article really and thats the Help Guide for SEO on Invision Community that doesn't help me at all.

Now I know Invision Community works very well and has SEO since the company's site pops up all over Google (which is AWESOME!) but in my attempt to figure this out myself I'm even more confused.  Below I'm posting a picture or two to help explain my confusion since I'm not sure how else to explain it.

Again, it could be something I'm not doing correctly or something is misconfigured which is why I'm posting this in the HELP section.  Not complaining, just want to know how to get SEO to work correctly.

I have clicked on: ACP -> System ->Site Promotion -> Search Engine Optimization

• Friendly URLs (all three are turned on and yes the .htaccess has been uploaded)
• Sitemap (Use recommended settings? enabled)
• Meta Tags:
  • I've clicked Rebuild Sitemap
  • Clicked Add Meta Tags but I'll be honest, not sure what to do so I followed the hint which is use Live Meta Tag Editor
  • I clicked on Launch Live Meta Tag Editor and it just brings me to the homepage of my site but I have no idea what the expectation is... maybe this is my issue.  Examples would be awesome if anyone has any.

Currently running: Invision Community v4.6.12.1

Any help, direction to get some google presence without paying these companies a bunch of money for something that I feel should be simple would be MUCH appreciated.

Thank You.  I do appreciate it and I see I am back in business.  Surprised that disabling the 3rd Party apps didn't correct the issue.

Replaced all files and still same results..  Updated Access information on site in Client Area.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist to getting this fixed.

Thanks for your help..  I can't even have the user try that since I was "trying" to figure it out on my own and I broke it.

I was looking at the quiz categories and clicked on "Convert to Club Feature" for the quiz category F5.

Ever since then, that club is now inaccessible.  So when I try and click on the club Tech, I get this

I cleared cache and I increased memory in PHP from 128M to 512M just in case.  I disabled all 3rd party plugins, including quizzes and nothing brings back the club.  Other clubs are working fine.

All 3rd Party applications are disabled and yet I'm getting this error when trying to enter my club labeled Tech.  Any help is appreciated. How do I increase the number of questions allowed in a quiz?  Currently it appears I'm limited to 5 and thats just too small? (20 would be ideal max for us but not mandatory that you have to have 20 questions)

I would really like the ability to assign categories from the ACP in the Quizzes menu.

I just went ahead and purchased it and was happy to discover you can add quizzes to clubs.  It doesn't really mention that it does support that on the product page so for anyone who is curious, it does work on clubs.

In order to troubleshoot the issue, I re-installed Links Directory and I believe the error now gets handed off to stratagem

I had some issues uninstalling and reinstalling stratagem but after a few tries and disabling any other third party I was eventually able to reinstall stratagem and re-enable the other 3rd party applications and now its working.

I tried to uninstall and was going to reinstall since I see a reference to stratagem, the uninstall appeared to go fine (didn't see any errors) and then when I tried to re-install via Marketplace, it fails.

ideally if a user pays for a membership/subscription we would like to pick:

what pages they can access

what blogs they can see

what groups they become a member of (which could include blog, gallery, downlods)

currently i haven’t figured out how to do this so my assumption is you can’t currently.

with wordpress some big money makers and very popular membership plugins offer this ability

This is personal. Mess to me is to have a new record or new comments in the 10th page instead of the first.; they will become unnoticed if the user doesn't user Activity Streams regularly.

I appreciate the feedback.  I can see your point but it probably depends on how people use Links.  For the clubs I'm using it more like Bookmarks so they know what they are looking for versus a community where everyone is submitting a bunch of links where you would want to latest at the top.

So I suppose its personal preference for how I'm using Links in the clubs to have it a-z and use Activity for the latest links or even a Custom Block that shows latest links/comments/reviews in the club for those links.  That would be cool.  Then you get the best of both worlds. 🙂

Good Morning Adriano..  curious if the new version (when it gets approved and posted) will it have the ability to have a default sort for the links?  I have links in my clubs (which is very cool thank you) and I would like to default to Alphabetical order versus newest link first but it currently doesn't appear possible.  So when someone clicks on links they get a jumbled mess instead of a clean a-z view.

Just curious and if its not coming, hopefully a suggestion for a future version would make my life way easier.

Hey Adriano..  I know you are super busy updating all your excellent apps (which I believe I have many of them).  Do you know when this error is expected to be fixed when clicking on Tools and Refresh Thumbnails.

Running PHP 7.4, latest version of LD 5.6.0.1 and IPB is at 4.6.5.1

I see there is an update and would like to apply it but it says I have to buy it again instead of just renewing it.  Anyway to fix this?

I use Stratagem for Project Management and its pretty darn strong for an app.  Been very happy with it and they are always developing/improving it.
