I have fixed this in 3.1.9. Only moderators that can actually delete content, or only Member Map markers, can delete other member's markers. And I've added a new member group setting for deleting own markers.

That is correct. I can add a setting for this in Member Map is needed.
It'll sync as soon as the profile is saved. If you're wondering about the import feature, that will run once a day if "Import members without a map marker?" is enabled, and will process 100 members per cycle.

I'll make some changes to ensure the marker description is updated.
Members should be able to delete their own marker by right clicking their marker, and selecting "Delete". Admin can do this on all markers.
At the moment you can not. I'll get that fixed.
Make sure both your server and browser cache is refreshed.
Go to ACP > Community > Member Map > Map Manager, and select a different map provider.
Unpack the *.tar file, and manually upload it to /applications/. Then go yo <site url>/admin/upgrade to start the upgrade process. Haven't tried this personally, but that should work.

Thank you for fixing this for me.
@Martin A. fixed some bad analytics code I had on my site that was preventing the map from displaying. He took the time to help me with this and I really appreciate it.

All markers will be deleted if you uninstall.
Send me site URL and login credentials in a private message and I'll fix it for you.

I'm aware of the issue, just haven't published the fix yet. You can patch it yourself if you want.

Member Map
View File IPS 4.4 ONLY
For IPS 4.3, use version 3.5.7
Member Map is an application that allows your users to put their (Exact or approx) location onto an interactive map. Member Map has a permission model so you can limit which groups can add to the map.
As an administrator you have the ability to create custom groups where your community (when allowed) can place other markers in the map, for example if they would like to post the location of an upcoming meet, exhibits, shops, etc.
For developers
If you are a developer and you store location data in your app that you'd like to show on the map, you can now do so creating a membermap/Mapmarkers extension. Instruction on how to use it is included in the auto-generated file.

Not possible to just disable. The application is designed that way. If you need multiple markers you can create a new marker group and add your markers there.

As Kjell Iver pointed out, it's the PHP settings upload_max_filesize and post_max_size that's in control of that. As your host to increase those values.
Alternatively you can do it the old way.

Will need access to your board to figure out this one, or disable the custom error page in order to see the proper message.
Both noted.

Can you run the same query I instructed @jair101 to run on that event?
SELECT event_location FROM calendar_events WHERE event_id=X

There's the reason why. The search engine Member Map use don't recognize the location. I'll see if I can do this a different way.
Not a plan for it currently, but I'm gonna write it down.
