All is good now. I had a personal issue that caused other issues. As i had been testing!
I do have one thing i am unhappy with however. Not technically a bug but might be worth mentioning.
On mobile the author, avatar and posted time leaves too much of a white space for me.
First image is how it is for me. Even with the toggle settings, the white space is too much!
The other 2 images are what i was aiming to create with css but it broke so much so i scrapped that idea. But i am including because they do look good? and might give you idea's
Not major but worth mentioning like i said.

pilotguy reacted to craigf136 in Tutorial for making a test install?
How I did it.
download copy of config.php from live site login to cpanel and create a new database IPSV4b5 for example Assign existing user to the database create directory / subdomain for the test install (remember that this is the URL that will be used for all test installs Upload the files for IPB v4 copy public and upload folders for live site (don't move, download locally - you could also compress these two folders and move the compressed file and then extract that by using cpanel file manager) then upload them to the directory for the test install (I personally took it offline for maintenance for 5 minutes). You can do this part in one of 2 ways, take live forum offline or leave live (crude but effective) change the upload paths to the uploads paths for the test database you can also do this via phpmyadmin but I'm not 100 certain on what needs changed in the database but only do it once you have copied the database (see below) login to phpmyadmin, go to existing database, and then select operations,
Untick create database before copying and in the field above, enter the database information and then click go to copy the database to the test install database once it has copied, go to the config.php in the test install directory edit and enter the test database information (replacing the live database information). then go to www.domain.com/admin/upgrade and run the upgrader, it will ask you to convert to UTF8 if you haven't already done so. Follow the upgrade steps -

No problem. Submitted a bug report.
I will reply the PM with the plugin, so you can use it now.
No luck there too: same issue. Will send to your email.

Easy to do!
ACP -> Customization -> Languages -> Translate
Search for "donations" and then find the block you wish to edit, and change the name there.

pilotguy got a reaction from ehren. in Invite System
@Adriano Faria - Ok after a few days here, and @ehren. looking into his themes, this isn't a theme issue. All themes are up-to-date and current. If you click on the +Create drop down and select "Create Invitation" a popup appears allowing you to do so (make an invitation.) The little ticket icon in the user menu bar however takes you to your account settings but with nowhere to input any invitation information. If that popup had some sort of visible URL to it, I could come up with a functional solution however I can't even create a menu item with a URL in the meantime, essentially making this useless right now, which is a big deal for me as this site allows registrations through invitations only.
Also, a majority of my users are on MOBILE devices - The invitation options doesn't even show up. So again, some sort of shortcut that I could use in a menu would be beneficial right now.
Any help you could provide would be huge right now.
Edit: I did not realize there was an update out for this. THIS solved my issue and all is working quite well again.

@ehren. - Ok I'll contact you at ipsfocus as I don't want the support topic for Adrianos system to turn into a theme support topic.
-
pilotguy reacted to Adriano Faria in Invite System
It's really a theme issue, otherwise it wouldn't work in any other and it does. See same issue with another ehren's theme:
There is no secret here. It will search for a CSS Selector. If it's there, it works.
True. I'll add for the next version.

I can't seem to see the option anywhere under account settings to select a group?

Wow really? Thanks @Adriano Faria!!
-
pilotguy got a reaction from Shawn Tierney in User Groups in Registration Screen & Account Settings
Hmmm - Ok. Would it be possible to have the groups that CAN SEE it as a separate option? I ask because this would be very handy for my users to pick secondary user groups as interest groups. Because I have trial members though, I do not want them to be able to make themselves a FULL MEMBER on their own, but they could because in order for this to be viewable to each main group, those other groups become an option as well to change to.
