Am I still allowed to hook in \IPS\Content\Item, for example? “NOTE: You can only create a listener on an implemented Item/Comment/Review class. You cannot listen on \IPS\Content\Item” There are resources that extends the global class, like this or this. These are suite resources, not single apps resources. Thank you.

Wrong. Look at the quote Stuart did. They're talking about the topic links to next unread topic. Before and what was resource intensive is that showed the topic title.

@Giray, it will use the same profile field permission for displaying in content: Although there's a permission to show in profile, this one is easier to implement, etc. Sooooo, it will show in profile card (hover) the fields allowed to be displayed in topics (posts). That's what I did. No as this is NOT a forum resource. This is global. The counter has data from ALL apps, not only forums. Even if it was Forums only, I would have to "exclude" data from that specific forum.

As you might know, you will have to add the prefix in every single topic you have. An easy way to enhance this job would be this resource: It will allow you to select multiple topics in forum view and apply the prefix to all topics of the page in same time. -
Just retested it and works fine for me: Make sure the plugin was uninstalled. This is now an application, so if for some reason the plugin is still installed, it is running the plugin, not the application. After uninstalling the plugin, if that’s the case, go to the app settings and choose the groups.
