  1. Hello, I'm a new user to Members Shop and Lottery. Site is 4.4.10, lottery 2.0.0, Shop is 2.0.2. Had my first winning ticket claimed yesterday. Reply was created perfect to the draw topic. However, when I looked at the member, it was clear that the points were not applied to their account. I waited a day to be sure that there wasn't some automated process that would add them in at a later time, and a short while ago manually updated the points on the members account. So, only ONE instance thus far and it failed to complete the transaction... and I am not talented enough to know why.... so I seek assistance please. Reading over the support forum, I found no issue matching this one, but I have experienced other issues stated, such as purchasing a ticket sometimes remains on same page, sometimes returns to home page. Checking a ticket will at times do the same thing. Additionally, as we all like to "automate" as much as we can, it would be nice to create recurring events for draws or at a minimum have the ability to duplicate/copy. Thanks!!

  3. HaHa, well that is good for you I suppose ... But it is not working on my site or dev site. Defat skins, custom skins, all mods off, makes no difference. My assumption is the plugin, simply because it is what adds the birthdate to the registration screen. I can open a support ticket with IPS if I don't find anything else....
  4. Hello, Perhaps with changes to 4.4.8 or 9, Birth date of the new user registration screen is showing months in both the month and day drop-downs. No one can register for the site. I can't turn off the plugin either as that would allow members to edit their birthdate. Can you please take a look and fix ASAP? Thanks
  5. Thanks for the quick fix! However, it seems the new 2.2.1 version may be the 2.2.0 version. Year isn't fixed and plugin reports that it is version 2.2.0. Perhaps the wrong file got uploaded?
  6. Hello! I'm testing the 4.4 version and the Birth Year seems to have disappeared from the registration form. This causes the registration to fail..... Can you please help out?
  7. This sounded perfect to me as I have many users that like to create multiple accounts, via proxies to attempt avoiding detection. However, the Plugin seems to block WiFi and home networking as well. I guess i wrongly assumed that it would look at the gateway IP and determine whether it was a third-party proxy/VPN. As is, this Plugin would block the majority of users from registering and whitelisting every conceivable private IP would be fruitless. On my phone, I was allowed to register on the cellular network. With WiFi on, I was denied. On computers and laptops, connected wireless ad wired to my home network, I was denied on all. Connecting my cable modem to one computer directly, I was allowed to register. Is this by design and I simply misunderstood? If so, I guess it's a $10 lesson.... If not, what am I doing incorrectly?
  8. I think this was addressed above, sort of for annual renewals on a fiscal calendar basis. It seems to me that Commerce, and now Subscriptions offers only two options: 1) Renew on a set number of days/months/years, or 2) Perpetual. What happened to static? Where a subscription is only good for 7 days, one month, or one year? The Subscriptions 3rd Party app prior to Nexus handled this quite well. I would like to respectfully request (beg) that expiration be added apart from renewal. It would not be inconceivable or uncommon that an offering of a 30-day (or whatever) recurring and non-recurring membership be offered. I'm not sure what I am asking for is the solution for the fiscal year problem of clubs and organizations, but a subscription certainly needs a static expiration date, with or without a renewal.   10. So, out of ignorance and curiosity.... If an user looks at 5 user profiles in Room 1 in the first minute within the room.... causing 5 disconnects and reconnects to Babble... What happens? Is the user going to be unable to enter chat for 15 minutes or until the "zombiekiller" process runs? I also have five chat rooms. It's not unreasonable to think that users may scroll through those rooms (each room causing a connect/disconnect) to see who is in them.

    I love using MemberMap and have since inception, but I have been considering using Boris's Member Location Unfortunately, the member location app has few options/customizations and creates its own location field. Would it be possible to offer this apps location field within the drop-down for profile sync within MemberMap? Thank you
  12. My post was an endorsement, in hopes that others looking for a chat solution won't have to experience the pain that I have. I have some constructive feedback from my members, perhaps more wish-list items! 1. Ability to resize the chat window/interface when it is popped out. 2. Ability to be in more than one room at a time and easily switch to see messages between them. Thanks for all you do!
  13. My Experience with Three Chat Providers, and why BABBLE is the BEST ArrowChat (2 stars): Honestly, I was VERY happy with ArrowChat and all the features and integration that it offered. As it grew in popularity, it became too much strain on my VPS, so I enrolled in their push service. That went fine for awhile, until I changed my site from HTTP to HTTPS, and ArrowChat works as HTTP by default. Changing the push service to HTTPS then counted ever message as TWO messages. Ridiculous, since every competitor I’ve come across is, by default, HTTPS. Soon, I was up to $100 per month for the push service on my free site. Even with the push service, ArrowChat was still very resource intensive. I found the ChatWee plugin here and decided to test it. ChatWee (0 Stars): At $29 per month for their integration, which includes the push service since they are completely software as a service, it was attractive. I ran ArrowChat and ChatWee side-by-side and sought member opinions. As expected, opinions were mixed. I felt the plugin had many shortcomings but that they could easily be overcome if the author was willing to put a little work into the plugin. You can run ChatWee free and without integration, but then it is just a chat system that really has nothing to do with your site and everyone can be whoever they wish to be. But, even with the integration, it is too featureless. You can not control which member groups have access to the chat. Given the way that Invision handles Banned members, all members that can log on to the site can chat. So members that have no access to the site, and even unvalidated guest-to-member members could chat. I sent a long message to the owner and detailed out how the plugin could be enhanced for out community, making it a more viable option: Access control, Profile viewing, Static Rooms, and other ideas. I asked for thoughts from him and if he thought it would be possible. Did he have someone that could re-write the plugin to make some value-added changes? Absolutely no response. Followed up. No response. Because of this, I began looking at Babble and was running it as a trial. About a week ago, ChatWee made changes to their core program and look. There was no notice to subscribers that the changes were coming or when. All of a sudden I began getting a large number of support tickets. All members were getting was a Chatwee API error rather than my site! It eventually even affected my Admin account AND the ACP. Disabling the Plugin, all returned to normal. Re-enabling it, crashes. After hours of work trying to understand what was happening, I disabled it and uninstalled it completely. The NEXT DAY, I received a ChatWee email telling me all about their latest upgrades and changes hoping I was enjoying them! Clearly they had no idea what their changes did to the integrations. Babble (5+ Stars): What can I say other than AMAZING! I seriously don’t know how I missed it or didn’t look further into it. I think that I thought it was more of a Shoutbox than a Chat to begin with, so I passed by it. Besides the app itself, I’ve never met an author that has been so willing to help and so easy to deal with. Michael is pretty amazing, and what he has planned for the next release looks incredible! Along with all that, the service blends perfectly into the site. It feels a part of it, like it truly belongs. Members are getting used to it. The navigation is not as smooth as the prior two regarding rooms, but I believe the next release takes that in to account. At the verge of literally removing chat from my site, Babble saved me. It’s affordable, it works, it has excellent and responsive support. This is all MY opinion and experience. I have no doubt that others have had other experiences. If you want chat, you want it integrated well, and you don’t want to drain your finances, then you need Babble!
  14. You can view and delete notes from the CP. An Excellent addition would be to Add note from CP. I LOVE this plugin and have used it since 3.x. When I am managing accounts in the CP, would be so wonderful to be able to add a note there. Thanks
    I have been using the Track Members app since Adriano first developed it for 3.x. It has been an invaluable tool to me in many ways. I track my Moderators. Not to police them per say, but to see if I made a good choice. Seeing their activity actually tells me a lot about what they spend their time doing on the site, as well as their moderator activities. I track ALL new members for the first week. I use the data that I receive from that tracking to make determinations regarding which site features need to be improved upon, based upon popularity. In addition, I can send them a Club invitation based on the type of content they regularly view. Problem Members are most definitely tracked indefinitely! How many times have you gotten a report and it turned into a he-said/she-said scenario? This log makes life easier in many of those cases. Adriano has been a "goto" developer for me for years. His plugins and apps have always been exemplary and he has written custom applications specifically to meet my needs. You may not use Track Members every day, but you will be glad you have it when particular situations arise!

    Possible Change/Addition? Changing to 4.x opened a whole can of worms for me. Half the users handed out bravos that all the posts were in ascending order and the other half sent rotten tomatoes over having to scroll and scroll to get to the most current post! Can the Plugin give each user a global or per category option for post viewing; ascending or descending? I have an additional plugin named "Post Sorter".... Since I am clueless when it comes to doing anything like this, I feel bad about criticizing the plugin, but it is rather cumbersome having users select a sort order for each topic, rather than category. I would very much like to disable this plugin.... but for now, it gives me a solution for angry users. Thank you for your consideration!!
  17. Sorry, I am a newbie (finally) to this version. I found the setting to disable/enable these links through the entire site at: System / Site Promotion / Sharing Since I cannot delete the topic, someone else may find it useful!
  18. Does anyone know how to turn off, disable, get rid of, all of the social links in the Commerce shopping cart?? I can find no setting for it and Social Media is pretty much disabled on the site. Image attached. Any help greatly appreciated!
  19. Hello! I've been searching for information or add-ons that control the members birth date. Age is an integral part of an adult website. Allowing an user to change their birthday translates to that person being 50 one day and 21 the next. Of course, I realize that as long as they enter a birthday over 18 years of age at registration, does it really matter, without proper validation? No. But, in an attempt to maintain continuity and limit fraud....is there a way? I would like to display age on the profile, but the only way that the date can be altered is from the ACP. Alternatively, is there a possible way to simply remove it from the template on the user interface so they simply do not see it or have the ability to edit it? I had a beautiful app in 3.4 that handled all of this and there is a similar app available that forces the fill of the birthdate, but doesn't seem to prevent it's edit. Thak you in advance for any help!

    Noticed an issue on the Main Member Map screen. When you click a marker and then the member name a "/" is missing from the URL. (i.e.../index.phpuser/15157-asd123asd/ instead of /index.php/user/15157-asd123asd/ )

    Upgraded to Beta 2.0 because the Map page no longer loaded and created errors. Cache is writable (777) Recached Skins Recached Caches Ran Scheduler task Still no markers. Any suggestions? Or wait for next release? (Maps are showing locations on Member Profiles fine) Thank you!
  24. Same issue for me. Though, it has seemed to always have this logic problem for as long as I can remember. I have been using it steadily, mostly PayPal, with none of the reported issues other than this. My site is the most current version and I am using the latest version of Subscriptions.
