Invision Community Insight: Low key news week

Featured Replies

☀️ Welcome to this week's Invision Community Insight! ☀️

Thank you for checking out this quick, round up post. I hope you have had a lovely week.

Super brief update today - Version 5 has been a big focus for our team so far this year and we are making great progress! We will begin sharing non-technical updates soon and once we do, I'll share those here.

Changelog

With that said, changes for version 4 are limited for now but for those that like to see what we are up to line by line, here is the changelog for the week for version 4.

Quote

Core

-Fixed an issue where having many groups can cause an error when updating a users location.

-Fixed an issue where saving too many groups on a member can result in an error.

Events

- Fixed an issue with searching for an event not working properly.

- Fixed an issue where event search would try to load a map when none are enabled.

Converter

- Fixed an issue where some Pages database language strings may be missing after conversion.

Do you think about revamping the default look of the default theme in version 5?

Hi Olivia, any chance we can get a small push for spam prevention in the current version?  80% of signups for us are spam...  😞

We are working on spam prevention improvements and hope to have them out in the next release or two.

She’s just exercising understatements to under promise and over deliver.  😁
