Joey_M
Is there a task that is supposed to be running to correct/update the most online stat? This has been happening for a while now. In hindsight I should've asked when I noticed but hey ho.
Marc Stridgen
Its likely what has happened is that its been manually set at some point. Edit that block, then delete the number in there. It should then set itself the next time most online is hit Joey_M and SeNioR-
Karina Harumi
I have a big doubt about how these numbers really work, as it is never equal to the number of views that counts in Google Analytics. And there is nothing in the documentation

Google Analytics and our online tracking will indeed be a tad different. Google Analytics is limited by JavaScript, people can opt out of it, they block some automated (bot) traffic, etc... etc... Whereas our online stat here will be if they are allowed to make a session on your site, they will be counted. There's some give and take on that with our Cloud and self-hosted CDN with guests but it's a little more straight-forward with our online number in the statistics block. Karina Harumi
So doesn't that mean I had 2446 real visitors on March 17th?

You had 2,446 individuals create an unique session on March 17th. This can include bots and other automated services.
