Marc
We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.

Marc
You would need to both set it as https as shown in the guide, and have an SSL certificate installed on your domain by your hosting company
e39.ro
i have requested this from the hosting company. meanwhile i am back to http and still not working
Marc
Please try recovery mode, which you can see how to use here. If this doesnt help, we need to know what error is being logged, as you are getting an internal server error on login to the admin CP https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/client-services/getting-support-r292/#recoverymode

Marc
Did you enable anything after you removed the constant, and before it started breaking again? Have you checked your server error file as mentioned above?

Randy Calvert
4 minutes ago, e39.ro said: i did not. just the constants file that i removed. don t seems to be anything new in the logs folder You would want to check the server (Apache) error logs for what a 500 is being thrown. It won’t show in those logs because it’s failing before it gets to the IPS logging.
e39.ro
can you please let me know how to check those? the path? thanks
Randy Calvert
Just now, e39.ro said: can you please let me know how to check those? the path? thanks You would need to get assistance from your hosting provider for that. We don’t know how your server is configured to store logs.
e39.ro
maybe this ?
Randy Calvert
Nope. Those are just access errors. There might be a separate server log for PHP. Again… your host would have to point you to where Apache/PHP error logs are stored.
Mark H
Just to note..... on most servers, you would need to check the Apache Error Log (not the PHP error log) for any 500 Errors.
e39.ro
login works again after witching to PHP 7.3 i have the following message in ACP PHP8 Incompatible Customizations We are currently in the process of migrating our platform from PHP7 to PHP8 in order to provide you with the greatest level of performance and security. We've identified one or more Applications or Plugins currently installed on your site which contain PHP8 incompatible hooks and/or subclasses. In PHP8, altering overloaded method signatures within a subclass results in a fatal error which can make a site completely inoperable. Also, our hook system relies on subclasses so this change applies to hooks as well. Therefore, this code must be either replaced with an updated version, removed, or disabled from your site as soon as possible. If you are not sure what this means, you must contact the Author of any listed Application or Plugin for an updated version. If you cannot update to a PHP8 compatible version, the Application or Plugin will have to be disabled or removed. hosting says they can t help and it s problem from the forum and compatibility to PHP
