Brainy S. Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 One of my favorite features of IPS is the auto-save when writing a post and coming back to the whole "Your previous content has been restored" message. How does this actually work? Does it rely on a browser's cache and or cookies? Or is it literally saving it to the server? It works great for me, but not for some of my users. Before I take a deep dive into why it's not working for some users I was wondering if anyone actually already knows the answer.
Solution Nathan Explosion Posted August 20, 2021 Solution Posted August 20, 2021 It saves to the local storage in the browser (not a cookie) Jim M and Brainy S. 2

Square Wheels Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 (edited) It used to save to the database, I miss that feature. If your browser crashes you're likely to lose what you had. Edited April 22, 2022 by Square Wheels
