Posted January 12, 20205 yr Hello, is possible copy a category of a Page database to other ips installation? I have some records in my test installation, but I need copy them to the production installation.

January 13, 20205 yr You can copy a database, but not the records within it. In order to do that, you'll need to do something custom, or an Invision -> Invision conversion instead.
January 14, 20205 yr That's actually a weird imposed limitation. Why prevent that? If you think staff might steal articles by exporting them from a website just make a administrator restriction setting so only authorized people have access to that option. I ran into a problem myself with this but it wasn't worth the hassle since my database had only 100 entries, so I just sat down and copy it all 1 by 1 into another database manually.
January 14, 20205 yr Yes, the intention was for this to be used for a staging -> production type model where you might build out a database and custom templates on a test installation, and then want to install that on a production installation. 99% of the time in this scenario, you don't want to bring across the content, just the setup/structure.
