opentype
No. Records can’t be exported at this time. Just the structure of a database.

bfarber
You can copy a database, but not the records within it. In order to do that, you'll need to do something custom, or an Invision -> Invision conversion instead.
Maxxius
That's actually a weird imposed limitation. Why prevent that? If you think staff might steal articles by exporting them from a website just make a administrator restriction setting so only authorized people have access to that option. I ran into a problem myself with this but it wasn't worth the hassle since my database had only 100 entries, so I just sat down and copy it all 1 by 1 into another database manually. opentype
Pretty sure it’s not deliberately “prevented”. It just hasn’t been built yet.
bfarber
Yes, the intention was for this to be used for a staging -> production type model where you might build out a database and custom templates on a test installation, and then want to install that on a production installation. 99% of the time in this scenario, you don't want to bring across the content, just the setup/structure.
