qiu shanlong Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Stuck on Upgrading database (Core: Upgrade ID 101021-0) Help !
SystemShock Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I seem to be having the same issue. Seems to be stuck here, +------+-----------+-----------+-----------------------+---------+------+--------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Id | User | Host | db | Command | Time | State | Info | +------+-----------+-----------+-----------------------+---------+------+--------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | 1342 | removed | localhost | removed | Query | 98 | Sending data | UPDATE ibf_forums_topics SET starter_id=(SELECT author_id FROM ibf_forums_posts WHERE ibf_forums_pos | +------+-----------+-----------+-----------------------+---------+------+--------------+------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Not sure if this part of the upgrade is just painfully slow or not? Took 45 minutes earlier today before I aborted the upgrade. Trying it again now which of course means my site is dead.
qiu shanlong Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 I tried disabling all plugins and repeating the upgrade. Still same issue . . . .
EmpireKicking Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I had no problems. Yet I did it on my phone. You might have to go about it manually then.

Ahmad E. Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Check the logs in /uploads/logs, if you have no idea what that is, you are probably better off raising a ticket with IPS.
SystemShock Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I have zero plugins installed. Upgraded from 3.4.x today to 4.1.5.2 and then got notified of this update as well.

qiu shanlong Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 @Adlago look what happened after clearing cache

Hexsplosions Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Same issues on my site too. I just raised a ticket with support.
Grouiiiiik Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Same error here Stuck on: Upgrading database (Core: Upgrade ID 101021-0)
qiu shanlong Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Did IPB support reply to any of you ? My community is down, and there has been no reply yet to my ticket.
Management Lindy Posted January 4, 2016 Management Posted January 4, 2016 We are working on this as we speak - my apologies for the inconvenience.

qiu shanlong Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 @Lindy I hope this doesn't take alot of time. What shall I do once you fix this issue ? I just re-run the upgrade or you're going to post somewhere steps how to fix this issue ?
SystemShock Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Following the advise in the admincp in regards to logging a support ticket, the system cleared my cache and has now completely broken the theme as well.

SystemShock Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Just now, qiu shanlong said: Welcome to my world, same issue here. Yip. Same issue.@Lindy, not sure if you saw my post above. If it helps the upgrade process seems to be stuck on, UPDATE ibf_forums_topics SET starter_id=(SELECT author_id FROM ibf_forums_posts WHERE ibf_forums_pos I've got zero plugins installed as the installation I am trying to upgrade was an upgrade from 3.4.x (I think it was 7 or 8), to 4.1.5.2. The above upgrade was successful and upon logging in to my admincp I was notified of the upgrade to 4.1.6 which I've been trying to complete for the last 4 or 5 hours.
Hexsplosions Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Time for some Civ 5. That's my solution to unexpected downtime. When there's nothing to moderate, game!
nodle Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 I was just about to upgrade too, glad I saw this post. I think I will wait a few hours.
Hexsplosions Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Thankfully I took backups just before the upgrade, so I can rollback if needed. It's a hassle, but at least I have some security in that sense.
qiu shanlong Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Well thank you Mark, they fixed it for me.
