You did have that when you click the converter or in the middle of the process? If its in the middle, i have an open ticket in in Tier III with them.

downloaded patch and uploaded to my server in the respective directory and I am still getting gateway time out error.

OK.. ran the conversion and I get this page

but when checking the conf_global.php file, that entry is not present.
Any issues with putting it in manually?

Also, all the other entries have a ' before and after... so would this be correct?

If it's not there then add it - and don't enclose in '', otherwise it's a text value instead of boolean value (true doesn't equal 'true')

We've clarified this page in 4.1.13 to tell you what to do if it doesn't exist.

Depending on the style of your conf_global.php add either

If your conf_global.php contains $INFO = array( add the following before the closing );

'sql_utf8mb4' => true,

If your conf_global contains $INFO['placeholder'] = 'xxx'; style declarations add the following to the file.

$INFO['sql_utf8mb4'] => true;

Tried running the tool on 4.1.12.1, and it stops midway, and leaves me with a blank page.

PHP 5.6.21 and MySQL 5.7.12.

It hapens for me too using Mac Safari. Using Chrome everything finished well and fast.

I'll give it a go using MS Edge or Firefox, failed in the latest Chrome on Windows 10.

There seems to be an issue with IIS having a limit on 2048 characters in an URL.
The issue will be resolved in IP.Board 4.1.14.

After conversion, several tables (several tens) keep the collation utf8_unicode_ci. Everything seems to work but should I modify these tables manually ?
