Guest Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Hi All I'm not too sure whats changed but back in the 3.x version when a user posted a youtube link it would be displayed in the thread and viwieable within the thread, it doesnt matter if i use the full url or the share shortned url, or even an iframe code, i have tried to turn on html and post it as an admin and it still doesnt seem to work, and suggestions? John_C Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 I have the same issue and it is random. Does it with emoticons, too. If you manually type them, they sometimes show as plain text. eGullet Posted November 10, 2015 Share Posted November 10, 2015 Note that there is a bug in CKEditor that causes it to only parse emoticons and YouTube links if you hit <space> or <enter> after them and then pause for a moment before submitting your link. I'm curious on this as the functionality you described is accomplished using the IPS developed plugins and not ckeditor default functionality.
