May 26, 201510 yr When installing the plugin to 4.0.6.1 I just get this... Forever: And in my Plugins area: Edited May 26, 201510 yr by Tripp_UK
May 26, 201510 yr Author Can't reproduce. It already happened to other plugins of other developers. Not sure why.
May 26, 201510 yr When installing the plugin to 4.0.6.1 I just get this... Forever: And in my Plugins area: I found a similar bug before & was fixed, it was for a earlies version and only happened when the plugin had a task. http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/plugintask-r5755/
July 3, 201510 yr I had this for 3.4.8 - and installing/upgrading it on 4.0.9.2 doesn't seem to loop. However; I get:1S111/1 Duplicate column name 'time_spent'
July 3, 201510 yr Author I had this for 3.4.8 - and installing/upgrading it on 4.0.9.2 doesn't seem to loop. However; I get:1S111/1 Duplicate column name 'time_spent'It shouldn't happen, since it was on table that were removed on upgrade (profile_portal). So I couldn't imagine why you got this.Take a look on core_members and drop the column manually on your database.
July 3, 201510 yr Well deleting the plugin - and reinstalling it works. But I've lost all the current times (which I'm not bothered by at all). So it works!

July 3, 201510 yr Okay. That is strange. :/ I don't know what to suggest. I do have a backup before I updated; so I can have a look and see where it is and what it did; if you like?
July 3, 201510 yr Author so I can have a look and see where it is and what it did; if you like?Ok... as far as I recall, it should be on profile_portal table. Now it is on core_members. UNLESS the upgrader moved all columns to core_members.
July 3, 201510 yr Ok... as far as I recall, it should be on profile_portal table. Now it is on core_members. UNLESS the upgrader moved all columns to core_members.That seems to be the case; in my backup; I can clearly see that in core_members, 'time_spent' exists, and has data in it. I wonder if I could copy this over to my current database and revive the times from before the upgrade; assuming it's stored in the same format.

If that's the case, I'll change the plugin to use the data. Thank you.

July 9, 201510 yr I'll take a look.In testing; it could be a number of causes. I currently have ArrowChat and Instant Informing, which uses AJAX polling (10 seconds) to retrieve new content. I'm also sporting a HTTP-Keep-Alive, I'm not sure if that's helpful at all. But I noticed that when I had six tabs open to my site; in just 10 minutes my time online count was reading in at 1 hour. How to prevent wife from seeing total time spent on forum?Permissions?
August 15, 20159 yr I'm going to have to disable this as it's being exploited, rather badly - people are opening multiple tabs now and slowing the site down just to boost the times.
September 10, 20159 yr This plugin does not seem to work proper with 4.0.13.1 because it increments the time too fast like many minutes per real seconds.
